A little psychological warfare from the trump campaign? Wouldn't shock me in the least. Most politicians would have folded like a cheap suit after pussygate.
Trump planning on getting the Attorney General to personally investigate and arrest the co-chairman too.
What would be the point of a 3rd debate? After last night, who would watch it? What could be gained from it? Last night was more like "Real Housewives of NYC" than two politicians running for POTUS. There's nothing in a 3rd debate that couldn't be covered in attack ads by either side.
Just to see him go after her one more time. He got to her last night and one more time definitely won't hurt.
But Petro, its not helping his numbers with uncommitted voters. All Trump is doing is reinforcing his reputation as a hot head that has issues with women. Its almost as if he's gonna go down fighting on the deck of the Titanic. He's even going after fellow GOP'ers that don't support him. Not sure if that's such a good idea either.
What do you mean? Hitting her on the emails/server issue definitely helped and made her feel uncomfortable. She can be easily rattled - just watch the beginning of her town hall with Matt Lauer. She's no Bill Clinton, she doesn't have a plan B or C. Once someone drags her out of her comfort zone and her scripted answers stop working, she crumbles. I still can't believe that Trump didn't attack her on the emails in the first debate when they asked a question about cyber security. He could have and should have put her on the defensive right there, but oh well..... Hopefully, the Clinton Foundation will be finally mentioned in the final debate, as that subject would open a whole new Pandora's box.
Petro, no matter how much he makes her uncomfortable, its not gonna move the needle in his favor. At this point, those that are leaning towards either candidate will most likely vote for that candidate. Trump is too far behind with white suburban women, never stood any chance at all with non-whites. Him being aggressive and making a woman uncomfortable just feeds into the narrative that he has issues with women. He'd be better served promoting HIS policies and programs instead of always attacking his opponent. His statement about jailing Hillary was right out of Putin's playbook and really didn't play well with anyone except his base. No minds were changed Sunday night. A 3rd debate will simply be more of the same bickering and insults and frankly, not worth Hillary's time to participate. Hell, why not let Trump simply have his own town hall meeting with his base and Fox narrator.
Isn't that what she always does? Her entire campaign is based on saying that he's just a racist, etc. Have you seen one her ad that talks about her own policies? It's 100% bashing Trump. At least his ads are split between bashing her and saying how he's going to change everything around, mostly using the words we've all heard a million times already without any specifics. As far as moving the needle, he was ahead of her or at least even in most polls before the first debate. He lost the first debate and the polls switched back in her favor. MSM buried him after the pussy tape came out but he'd proven them wrong before. Let's see where the polls are on Wednesday/Thursday before saying that the 3rd debate would not change anything
The Iraq War shit always cracks me up. Everyone and their brother now says they opposed the war but like 50 percent or more of the nation was for it. Oh it was the bad intel you say? Well there were some common arguments against the war back then. One of them was that the intel was bad. No WMD. Will destabilize the region, those were the arguments. Shiver me timbers, is that what actually happened? Doh! I have no idea if Trump would have voted for the war or not, it's hard to say one way or another. But Hillary DID buy into the bullshit. And there was lots of bullshit. Anyone remember the Freedom Fries bullshit and all the bullshit against the frogs?
When you're emotional you say and do stupid things. It's safe to say that everyone was rattled after 9/11 and most likely weren't thinking clearly. For the 100th time the war in Iraq was a massive mistake. Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using Tapatalk
"On Sunday Donald Trump crushed Hillary Clinton in one of the most lopsided debates in political history. It was a brilliant performance. Trump made everyone forget about the WaPo tape." Couldn't pass on that gem.
As I was in the Army when GW I started, from what I remember Bush 41 put together quite the coalition and everybody was scared Saddam would roll over the Saudis and Kuwait and control over half the world's crude oil supply. Everybody was for it then..Money talked back in1991. When GW II broke out, it was right after 9/11 and somehow, Bush 43 managed to pivot from killing Bin Hidin to Saddam and his WMD's that surely would explode over Times Sq. if he wasn't removed. If you didn't support the war, you were not patriotic enough to be a politician. The media was all in and so was damn near every politician that had something to lose. Obama was a nobody back then so his vote didn't matter. Sanders I believe was against it too. Practically everyone else, from the hotdog guy on the corner to Donald Trump was for The War of Retribution. It was Payback time in America. What folks forgot was digital video was just starting to mature and many hours of speeches and interviews were being recorded. They didn't realize it would bite them in the ass almost 20 years later. Hillary was for the war. So was Trump. Its comical to say to someone today: "Prove I said it".. Usually, that's exactly what happens...
