It's a shame I can't even get my hopes up for Kizer or Garret, knowing his franchise we'll gut out two wins over the last four weeks of the season and pick seventh instead of second or first. Maybe, they need to use one of Wilk/Sheldon to trade up.
I don't understand how anyone thinks THIS TEAM can make the playoffs. WAKE UP, PEOPLE. The season is over.
I expected the Pittsburgh loss. If the Jets can beat Arizona, they would actually have a pretty good chance of getting to 5-4. Baltimore is terrible, despite their 3 wins. Cleveland is 0-5 and Miami is 1-4. Arizona will be difficult, but the Palmer hasn't been that good this season and he is currently out.
You still forget that we have AFC losses to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, all teams vying for wildcards, and/or their divisions. But who am I kidding, we have bigger problems and are another road 7 point underdog.
What makes you think we're so much better than Balt and/or Miami? We never beat B'more and Miami always saves their best game for us unless the game is in the UK. We are better than Cleveland but the harsh reality is, we're in the lower echelon of teams this year. We have names on the roster, but that's about all we got for now..
We'd kind of be relying on Broncos/Raider/KC and Pitt/Bengals/Balt eating each other to a degree and things falling in our favour but we're really on long odds right now unless we somehow go 12-4 or 11-5. Then again we could lose to the Browns at which point..............
It's not just the record, we haven't even looked competitive in 3/5 games. Not sure how anyone can expect a turnaround when we can't even get the basics right. Let's see if we can get through one game without a blown coverage assignment before worrying about the postseason.
Jets really need that edge rusher that can get to the quarterback. That's what we'll draft. And mark my work I was at the Pittsburgh game and saw Farrior jerseys, darron Lee will be the next farrior. He will leave the jets and become great elsewhere.
