never let the facts get in the way of a $12 million mistake. btw, geno's stats were with an offense that had considerably LESS talent at wideout than pickpatrick's team has.
Geno may or may not have been the better choice on the field....But we sure as hell would have found out and then we could have moved on to Petty if he wasn't We would have saved a bunch of money that could have been used this off-season to sign a pro-bowl player at a different position ....And also not looked like the joke of a franchise we apparently are by being hijacked by a backup QB Now it's just a huge waste of a season and we dumped $12 mill for no good reason

Bowels being terrible shouldn't excuse yet another poor game from the pathetic bearded journeyman. The TD was yet another red zone interception if not for Brandon Marshall literally taking it away from the DB's hands. Since he's been with the Jets Fitzpatrick has thrown 16 4th quarter INT's and has yet to throw a 2nd half TD this season. The decision to punt instead of go for it by Bowles was fucking pathetic but it shouldn't have even been 4th down. Enunwa was 4 yards in front of Fitzpatrick with no one within 20 yards of him and Fitz throws across field into coverage. Pathetic ass HC with no faith in his pathetic ass QB. No surprise.
Seen it too. Enunwa was wide open. Doesnt mean he will catch it though, he was wide open in the flat earlier and dropped the pass. Fitz wasnt the reason the Jets lost today.
Well he was a factor. He wast terrible, but dont confuse that with good. This defense in Pittsburgh is not good, and he couldnt move them, the only td he threw should have been picked off. Yes, Fitz cant put this team on his back and bring them from behind for the win. That has been established. He is not elite. He does a decent job of keeping the Jets in games (as he did 3 quarters today) but without a running game he is ineffective. But what about the no-show DL? The horrible coaching decisions?
Ok then we mostly agree. All I'm saying is Fitz improved from last week. The rest of the team continued to play poorly.
Bowles was worse than Fitz but I've seen enough by now Leading an offense to 13 points against a shitty Pittsburgh defense is not good at all Atleast if they go to Geno or Petty it will be somewhat interesting...Fitz at Arizona I might not even watch

I get it, but if other parts of the team (the secondary) fixed their issues the game could have been won.Too much focus on Fitz lets the rest of the team off the hook.
I said Geno should have been named starter this week. But if Geno is playing from behind and has no running game he loses too.
