Maybe Bowles was planning for his defense to score the two TD's we needed. Why else would he give the ball up?
I've been completely ignoring all the calls for Bowles' head only 4 games into the season thinking it was an overreaction and premature. But 4th and 2 near midfield, less than 8 minutes left down two scores, and he punts. The first punt was bad, but at least could say ok, 11 minutes left, deep in our end, maybe you trust your D (and they did get us a turnover). Second punt? Utterly indefensible. My opinion of his just dropped waaaay down.
When it comes to offensive playcalling, there hasn't been a testicle to be found among any coach we've had since Parcells stepped down. Groh, Edwards, Mangini, even Rex were pussies when it comes to offense. I don't care where the next coach comes from: Offense or defense. I just want someone who tries to win instead of trying to not make mistakes. Because the ones that just try not to lose, try to not make mistakes, fail at both.
Bowles is too stupid to even know when his defense is playing terribly. It's why he kicked the FG against Cincy and why he punted today -- he absolutely had no clue what's going on in the game.
I prepared by powder puff football team better than Bowles does the Jets. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
This guy is unquestionably the stupidest moron of a HC we have had in years, Rex was a genius compared to Bowles Well see how good of a GM we have by how quickly this entire coaching staff is fired after the season
Losing team fans always want to fire the coach. They need an offense that can score touchdowns. That's the NFL in 2016. It is an organization concern. Get a top QB and the coach will not matter.
If you don't trust your QB to be able to pick up a yard on offense through a sneak then why the hell IS HE OUT THERE? Bowles sucks. Horrible just horrible. Not very nice things.
The guy has no fight in him, none at all. I was all for giving him at least the season to get things straight, but he doesn't know how to call a proper game at all. I can't even believe he choose to punt down two scores with 7 minutes left. It's not like we play two minute or hurry up. They would have needed at least 5 full minutes for the TD drive alone.
Clock management at its finest. He's the one costing us the games. He needs to be handed a pink slip.
Unacceptable to punt that. I haven't had too many complaints about Bowles today, but this is a terrible terrible mistake. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
