The team has serious issues at QB, TE, OL, Safety, Corner, and linebacker. The DL has also been a major disappointment. However, it's the Head Coaches job to make these things come together and he hasn't. Mac has coddled Todd Bowles just like Rex Ryan coddled Mark Sanchez. And just like Mark Sanchez, Todd Bowles is failing through time. I'm sorry but ALL of this falls on Todd Bowles at the end of the day. The ST's sucked a fat one last season so Bowles fired the ST coach, who is he going to blame this season with all of the issues on offense and defense? Either way, Bowles has gotten every single little thing he could have wanted or desired. Mac even went so far as to draft a part time linebacker that looks like Minnie Mouse. Bowles has gotten everything and Lee was supposed to be the guy that put this defense over the top. Instead this defense has not been this bad since long before Rex Ryan arrived. BOTTOM LINE..........Todd Bowles should be f*cking fired at the of this season. There's a lot of talent on this team, especially on defense and the returns are laughable.
HC, OC, QB, and Secondary have all been very disappointing... I think the GM has done a good job to this point, although a fair criticism would be taking Hack over some of the other QB's available this draft.
+1000 Mac will wake up and realize this Honeymoon with TB is over He has to stop listening to the HC at draft time We missed out on grabbing some better QBs However at least Mac can redeem himself a bit if Christ Hackenberg works out or B Petty Bowles got handed a top of the line BMW, especially on defense and hes crashing it...so much talent on the team misdirected

I said QB as a vote. However, I put the secondary right up there with QB. The entire team is in a funk, coaches, players and now its affecting the fan base. What is troublesome is that the HC kept the team from imploding when they were playing shitty last year and this year he seems out of touch.... I posted this on other sites, if Fitz throw three ints tomorrow and Bowles doesn't bench him then we have a serious problem with the CS.

The Secondary has really surprised me with how piss poor they've been. The play calling in the red zone has been horrific. Fitz and Bowles big letdowns too.
The same issue we have had last year, our QB. It's like half the board forgot what happened in Buffalo at the end of last season. The support this clown received on this board all off-season was laughable. And you know who you are.........
Its the scehme Bowles is using to its deeper then just the players not playing well.How many busted coverages have we seen so far.....The plays Rodgers is calling are not effective and Kacy Rodgers should be fired and Bowles should call the plays for now.
Even if the Jets go 5-11 or 6-10 this year I would be surprised if Bowles got fired. He did win 10 games last year so I think he gets one more year. Besides changing the HC every 3 years gets you nowhere see Cleveland and Buffalo as examples.
QB and it's not even close....Other areas of the team have been disappointing but Fitz has been a disaster With solid QB play we could easily be 3-1 right now...instead we are getting dumpster fire type play. Ridiculous amount of turnovers, missed reads, lollipop throws, inaccurate throws all over the place, no ability to make a comeback, no ability to make big plays down the field, you name it Tomorrow is the last straw, has to be. If we lose and Fitz pads stats to end up looking decent it's the worst case scenario. 1-4 with Fitz leading the way
Coaching, secondary, QB, in that order. Very disappointed in Bowles. The secondary failure and Fitzpatrick's awful play. The fact that Geno is in line to be our qb is "OMG" crazy. One can only hope he has grown mentally to be a real NFL QB. Being a (very) long time fan I really don't see light at the end of the tunnel. We seem to be mired in futility. JMHO
There's no "biggest issue" or ONE primary reason. Fitz causing turnovers, being limited as a passer (dink & dunk) is a big issue. The fact that once we fall behind he's basically just a lame duck QB waiting to be pick six'd. The guys around him dropping / fumbling balls. Chan being about as predictable as it gets on offense, it seems like we have a total of 4 plays in that playbook. Our secondary playing like they have never been taught the basics of playing football on defense (proper angles, communication, tackling).
