Poor Republicans. Why is the media always so mean to them?

Loved the video. I might now consider voting for him. Kidding aside, Pence looks like a very decent person. If Republicans bump Trump out and keep Pence on the ticket, he has my vote over corrupt Clinton machine.

. that's why career politicians are career politicians. they keep getting elected by saying what people want to hear and then going and doing whatever they think is best for themselves. apparently that's ok with the majority of the voting public

I'd be willing to bet most of the overweight trailer park trash you're talking about aren't winning the Republican nomination for President.

He should have kept the whole "I smoked weed up until 7 weeks ago" statement to himself. I forget which interview he was doing but he actually said that..Amazing

I believe the "open borders" deals with commerce, not immigration.

Depending on who the running mate is, that would be a formidable ticket this cycle.

Isn't necrophilia a crime in most states? I think Trump likes them younger.. A LOT younger.. More Eastern European too.

Well, the optics weren't very good at all. Even if it were the day after a Jack Daniels binge, Johnson looked completely lost when asked the question. His running mate should be heading up that ticket. Just like Pence should be heading up the GOP ticket. Again, this election isn't about policies, its about emails and assorted other baggage.

Things should be different in 2020. We can only hope so..

it won't be different if Hilary wins. that's the signal to all politicians to just keep doing what you're doing. voters don't care how corrupt you are. tell them what they want to hear and live the cushy life.

I have to disagree here FJF.. I think you're seeing the slow but inevitable death of the two party system as we know it. In a day and age of instant news and information at your disposal in a second, Pols can't hide anymore and always have to assume they're being recorded in some fashion. This will give rise to more viable 3rd party candidates. I can see the day when the US goes to a Parliamentary system and simply sidelines POTUS.

Not a chance. The desire to brand ourselves as different, and thus better and smarter, than those of the other party is simply too strong with the emotionally insecure and desperate for validation.

Sorry but it seems you too have let the MSM hoodwink you.
The question was not, "name one world leader.", the question was, "name a world leader that you admire". Sure Johnson could have blurted out any name and the host would have moved on but Johnson had Vicente Fox in mind as an answer and the name eluded him at the time. There was never a time when Johnson could not name one world leader.
And while I admit that the Aleppo issue looked bad on the surface, when it was clarified what the hosts were asking Johnson had a good answer to the situation.
Principled decisions and good policies, that is what is important of a candidate for President. I have no doubt I could beat Johnson in Trivial Pursuit but he beats both Clinton and Trump when it comes to ethics, principals and policies.

Take a look at some of Pence's social and science policies.

He denies climate change, denies smoking kills, denies evolution, wants creationism taught in public schools, is against gay equality, is against contraception, wants Planned Parenthood eliminated (even though that led to an HIV spike in his home state), is against mothers working, and is against pro-choice to the extreme.

    real nice guy.
how does he defend such an extreme backward right wing POV on these policies...........religion. Does that sound familiar to you?

for those who thought Trump was the anti-establishment candidate, he couldn't have picked a more establishment party line guy than Pence.
    so much for that..
