St johns county where stinkyb is starts evacuating tomorrow at 6, I'd inagine west palm doing the same. Jay probably needs to go tomorrow night. Gfs has this thing looping around for a second swipe at south fla, long week for all on the southeast coast. Be safe everyone, no heros
Figures, I kid around about it coming my way and as soon as I get a serious buyer for my house the damn storm decides to make a u-turn and head across the state. When I sold my last house in 2004 my closing was delayed for months because of the 4 storms that hit Florida that year.
good luck wb, be safe. I have family in Jacksonville I am bit concerned about. a lot of agreement between the latest euro and gfs. friday is going to be a long day for you guys down there
Im FUCKING EXHAUSTED.... filling sandbags and prepping 2 houses (my parents are in NY) Shit may get crazy. I'm in Flood Zone A....... Rt off A1A. GiddeeUp It's GAMETIME. Not sure what I'm gonna do, but I got a tank full of gas, a cooler full of beer, a dog as a copilot and a mossberg in tow.... Like MadMax with a slower car LETS GO METS
Appreciate it but I don't see me getting much more than a breeze. My son on the other hand is in Orlando, he told me they stocked up on beer and boarded up the windows. 4 college kids in a hurricane, what could go wrong.
Depends. How many girls in the group? Your son and 3 girls and you will have 3 grandkids. Your son and 2 girls, you will have 1 grandkid.
how is Orlando and WinterSprings Fl looking? I have a couple of friends down there and wondering if they'll get little impact from this storm.
they will feel the effects, weaker than what the coast will get but still hurricane gusts and tropical storm sustained winds at a minimum.
You guys down south stay safe,,,,,,I know you have more important things on your minds but if you can fill us in on whats happening in your neck of the woods if possible post a pic or video,,,,,again be safe all ! Are we outta the woods yet up North ? The latest I have seen shows this thing not exactly heading out to sea just staying over the ocean away from the coast,,,again are we out of the woods whats the path after NC any ideas or guesses ?
sticking out for now because of the curve it SHOULD take around Charleston. We are in the 60 to 80 mph zone and between 10-12" of rain. When I say sticking...not a Carolina Beach but 3 miles inland into Wilmington. Will try to get some pics uploaded during or after. We are in a pretty solid spot so its all good. BUT IN FLORIDA...dear lordy. Just feel because of the "brush" scenario that has been painted all over that some stayed back...and quite honestly...there are parts of Central and Northern Florida that may have never seen a storm surge like the one they will face. I mean...the northern part of the Florida coast is not ...not...a hit spot for hurricanes as long as my memory serves me. Cant remember Jacksonville and surrounding areas ever dealing with anything like this? Could be wrong. Anyway...the ole loop de loop thing may happen? It will be a very weak system by the time that happens..if it does. Hope all that are down in the southeast are smart...will update you starting tomorrow night on whats going on down here.
