Strawman much? Please identify any part of either of our posts that defend the tax code. If you just want to make up other people's arguments for them, why bother quoting them. Just make up your fantasy arguments and counter them.

I hate Donald Trump, but at the end of the day he really did do a great job of exposing these politicians for the crooks they are.

Hillary Clinton is not going to be a good president. Much like Richard Nixon I think she is overly paranoid and instinctively evasive which will contribute to her downfall.

As a country we should also eliminate this whole bloodline garbage. America doesn't need another Clinton just like they didn't need another Bush 16 years ago.

Make all the lame strawman claims that make you happy but my posting was directly responsive to the post to which it was attached.

Maybe you could point out where I defended the tax code.

Which was a response to my post, and in agreement with my post, in which neither defended the tax code but you accused doing so.

Trump is trying to play this 3 ways. I'm a genius for playing the tax code. Anyone who has watched Trump knows he doesn't understand the tax code. The man can't even study for a debate and is constantly saying stupid shit. If he could read the tax code I would be shocked. I suspect his tax accountant or tax lawyers are very smart. They're also not running. We also don't know if he is following the tax laws since he is under audit and won't release his taxes because of it. He may well be gaming the tax code and we simply won't know until he releases his taxes including any penalties for underpayment that the multiple audits may have found.

Trump has been trying to say he should be President because he is a billionaire and highly successful businessman. If it's true he carried a loss of less than a billion dollars for 20 years and didn't pay taxes, he probably isn't a billionaire. It's likely he is a highly paid reality tv star and a fairly pedestrian real estate developer who has lost a ton of money and gone bankrupt multiple times. We simply don't know.

I have no problem with a carry forward loss. You pay taxes on gains and we need to encourage risk taking. Losses should be taken against gains. That doesn't make you a genius or a great businessman. What's more telling is that he said he would release his taxes and hasn't. He is trying to play a line that he is a successful businessman and a brilliant guy for carrying a billion dollar loss for 20 years. It doesn't pass the smell test.

So let me get this straight,,,,Hillary goes off on Trump for using the law to his advantage but in the next breath last year she used the exact same loophole and she donates a million dollars to the Clinton Foundation ( to herself basically ) and thats ok ?
not only a Liar she's also a Hypocrite.

Neither used a loophole. What's wrong with the Clinton's giving money to a charity that is consistently rated as one of the best? If you're making an argument that we shouldn't have deductions in the tax code, that's a reasonable position. There is no hypocrisy in giving money to charities and taking a tax deduction. I believe her tax returns are actually available unlike Mr. Trump.

Speaking of being hypocritical: Here's all the times the twitter warrior Donald Trump has blasted others for not paying taxes, including Mitt Romney.

"HALF of Americans don't pay taxes despite crippling debt" (meanwhile he hasn't paid them in 20 years)

The hypocrisy is her ripping Trump for doing the same thing.

How do you get rich by running a charity anyway?

Not sure but I imagine it's somewhat similar to getting rich by losing a billion dollars.

They didn't get rich by running a charity. Bill Clinton has made over a 100 Million in speaking engagements around the world. She has made a fortune in speaking engagements and writing a book. The Charity is one of the highest rated in the world and does great work.

    Here's how they got rich.

Sure, he made a one hour $500K speech in Moscow in a room full of people who don't or barely speak English. Then, the Russians somehow got their hands on 20% of the US uranium... coincidence I guess :)

They actually released their returns and their income is public knowledge. The Russians didn't get their hands on any US Uranium. They got ownership in a US company. They don't have a license to export it.

So why would Bills speaking price skyrocket when Hillary became secretary of state? Why did a bunch of blood thirsty, shit head leaders who care about nothing but themselves suddenly feel charitable when it came to the Clinton Foundation? And why did so many Clinton Foundation donors get meetings with Madam Secretary while she was in office?

I don't think the answers to these questions are available on a tax return, but I don't know a lot about them.

Makes sense. I hear a lot of regular, non-rich folks lose a billion dollars.
