Agree, there needs to be improvement. This team needs to be playing 100% football from here on out. No more coming out flat and shrugging at the end of games talking about they don't know what happened.Fitz and his 12 mil needs to hit the bench if these multi, multi pick games keep up.

I don't think anyone can argue with the sentiment. I just don't know how to get excited about having a guy like Mike Smith as head coach. I'd rather bank on Bowles learning something.

For example, Marvin Lewis' Bengals are 113-94-2 in the regular season since he took over in 2003. 0-7 in the playoffs.
For the same period, our beloved Jets are 99-109 in the regular season, but are 5-4 in the playoffs.

I'd take those 5 playoff wins over those 14 extra regular season wins any day. Think about it-- the OT win over the Chargers with the Eric Barton penalty almost ruining everything, beating the Bengals for the second time in two games because they didn't man up put us out of it the week before, Thomas Jones busting through the line on 4th-and-one to seal a win in San Diego, Manning and Brady on the road back to back.

Those runs didn't get us all the way, but they made the suffering mean something. Tis better to have loved and lost.....The Bengals have none of those, just decades of suck followed by decades of pretty good.

Maybe the Jets can hire away a good coach without him getting fired? I mean, the Patriots did it to us, didn't they?

One thing I have been arguing all off season before we resigned him, he is not a smart QB. He has never been and will never be.

Wasn't there exactly the same thread last year before Jets went on 5 games streak?

You boys got another couple of weeks to sing koombaya around the john, enjoy.

I'd like to see Woody take a long vacation from this team for about 5 years or so. Just put together an Executive board of solid football people to run the everyday things and simply sign the checks. I really don't want to see Woody "hire" anybody else EVER. His judgement sucks when it comes to personnel as he has no vision of what the team looks like or how to run it. If Woody can't do that, then he should just sell the team and go back to whatever it was that made him his fortune.

That 5 game winning streak was a gift from a 4-12 schedule. This schedule says 5 game losing streak if nothing else.

no, he did not. after losing the first two games, rex fired the bills offensive coordinator. the bills have now won their last two.

how many times does the secondary get torched due to ' mental mistakes' before we fire our defensive coordinator?

If we fire Bowles after one bad season, the only former coaches who would want our job would be Philbin and Whisenhunt.

I hate to say it but If Rex was still the coach with this D and this offense we would be 3-1 at best.Rex never had a team with this much talent.Im getting so sick of this team ......They make it so hard to be a fan.

WE don't agree often but I think this is right on. I want them to feel the pain that we are and to learn from it but if as you say - the team and CS - have regressed then I am not sure that this CS can fix the problems.

Agreed, but if this goes into the shitter and the wheels come off next season, then I am all in favor of backing up the Brinks truck and doing whatever it takes to get either Cowher or Chuckie. Those dudes seem completely happy where they are and most likely don't want any part of the NYJ circus with no QB. Just no more OTJ training for the hot D coordinator of the moment...

    He strikes j
I'd like to give Jim Schwartz a call. I think he would instantly improve this defense.

Also if you don't think Bowles is on the hot seat this season you don't know the NFL.

If this a 5-11 year there is no guaranty TB comes back. He knows that.
