At the very least the DC whomever that might be should be fired today. We are supposed to have talent on the defense and have seen none. We can't get a pass rush to save our asses and the secondary is a complete joke.
We don't do well against the Steelers even when we are in a more competitive state than we currently are. Expected to be at 1-3 after four games, unfortunately I didn't expect the Defence to be non existent and the complete and utter obvious throws by Fitz. I bought into him too much it appears. Everytime the commentators brought up that Fitz trusted Marshall in a one on one with Sherman I winced. I don't mind Fitz, hes a likeable guy for for such an 'intelligent' guy he makes an awful lot of dumb decisions. Anyhoo, this is going to be 38-14 and one of the TD's will be garbage time for us
The offense isn't exactly a thing of beauty either. This is Bowles' first real crisis and its gonna be interesting for us fans to watch. It should be painful for that staff and for the under performing players involved as well. Bowles may well have to fire his buddy Kacy Rodgers at season's end. Since he didn't have a problem firing Bobby April this shouldn't be difficult if not for the personal relationship between him and Rodgers. He may also have to look at replacing Gailey too as defenses have caught up with all the underneath and back shoulder stuff not to mention Gailey's penchant to get pass happy at the wrong times. If Bowles fails to make changes and "stay the course" as they used to say, his seat should start to warm up PDQ as we all know Woody does pay attention to PR and the media coverages. I'm beginning to think letting Woody choose the HC before hiring the GM was yet another in a long line of administrative missteps taken by Mr. Johnson since he bought the team.
If it were up to you we'd have a new GM and Coaching staff 3 times a year. That said, I find it appalling how bad our defense is given the talent. Especially with the fucking loads of talent on the d-line. There's no reason we shouldn't be a stout defense with all that d-line talent.
