Geno DID those things his first few seasons, but looked much improved in that regard this season. Again, if nothing else, it might shake Fitz and this team up and get their attention if Fitz is benched.
you dont bench fitz for geno. makes no sense. geno doesnt help short or long term. only value geno provided was injury backup for fitz if we had won games. we havent. we wont make the playoffs. any non fitz reps need to go to petty or hack
Fitz has absolutely sucked 3 out of 4 games, yes, including the one against the Bengals. Let's stop the Geno sucks BS as a response because no one is sucking as bad Fitz. The only agenda that counts is that we are wasting roster talent and time by playing the worst QB on our team right now. We have seen plenty of Fitz shit, and not one opportunity given to other QB. That is just coaching ineptness, period. Even fucking Cam was yanked but not this sorry excuse for a QB.
Is Petty healthy enough to be an option at this point? If so I wouldn't mind him starting for a week or two to see if he can handle the job. I think I would look to sign or trade for another QB before giving the job to Geno or Hackenberg.

That doesn't make a lick of sense because you cut smith, and they didnt, so he is the second option. Smith was never going anywhere. I told everyone that and i was right. Im right about this too. You might ve easily impressed by preaeason action, but i am not. Petty done anything to leapfrog smith. if bowles does fire his defense coordinator soon, he should be fired. the 2016 jets have not put up a good defensive game all year. seattle has struggled on offense all year until today.

Other than the forward fumble, the Jets have produced just one offensive touchdown in the last two games. That goes with about a thousand interceptions. If it were up to me, Fitz has maybe the first half in Pittsburgh to show some life. Then it's Geno time.
I would offer Baltimore a conditional pick next year for Ryan Mallett. With our skill players he would do well here.
Fitz sucks Geno sucks harder we're basically screwed unless Petty is the answer (doubtful) but at least he gives me hope ... it stings me to the core of my being seeing so many guys all over the league getting the job done AKA Lynch, Prescott, Siemian, Kessler, McCown, Taylor, Hoyer, just to name a few ... while we shit the bed and clown it up ahhhhhhhh the life of a Jets fan ...
The Jets cannot make a run with Fitz. at QB because he is just fair. Playing out the season with him may be the word from the front office to the staff. Regardless it will be not a very competitive season. I guess the illusion that they can make a run has to be maintained but he has a one year contract and will not be back next year so what's the long range plan?
