I blame coaching as much as Fitz. No run game again. Every time Fitz is forced to go to the air this happens. How can they not see it?
Fitz works perfectly in offenses with a strong run game. He doesn't have the arm to stretch the field. He works fine when opposition is defending a run game. They had to have known it signing him, so that's the offense you play, not throw 40 or 50 passes especially when Decker is hurt.
Exactly. How many times have they gotten burned on those short passes in the last couple of weeks on the defensive side?
I think Forte is better, but its clear teams are gonna key on him and nake Fitzpatrick beat them. He cant, so this is the result. I'm not sure why everyone is suprised, he looked like this last season and had a few moments of offensive explosions that covered his poor play up. I was lukewarm about Fitz leading this team. I have no doubt now. He sucks...but he's not the only one. But our special teams have improved. So there's that.
Fitzpatrick has no excuse. He's got a good O-line, one of the better receiving corps in the NFL, and two very good runners. There's absolutely no reason why he should be performing this poorly.
As much as I hate to admit it, Geno should be starting. Fitz can't play from behind and with how our secondary is playing, I feel like we're going to be playing from behind in most of our games.
