No, Bowles shows no real emotion and doesn't run his mouth. Rex battled back this week against a decent team. Bowles? Well his team folded to a mediocre team they should have beaten.
Rex has this bizzare ability where it looks like his team is totally in the toilet to pull off seemingly miraculous wins against teams that typically should beat them. The Bills destroyed Arizona, at least defensively, and they have a boatload of injuries. Bowles irritates me because this team has talent and he has no sense of urgency or emotion. As far as results well they're typically the same but can he get the team to bounce back?
We had threads for Coslet, Kotite, etc. too. Bowles horrible game plan had nothing to do with the color of his skin.
While he did not have the title during any games, Belicheck was the head coach of the Jets twice. Once before we hired Bill Parcells as HC (he was previously a consultant) and again after Parcells named him head coach only to have him quit on us.
IF B Marshall and Decker was at 50%, then go to Robbie Anderson. Can't wait till this kid gets a real chance. No excuses here. Everybody plays a little hurt.
not a rex cheerleader, just dont feel he was the only reason we were losing. the hate on rex is overblown. he had his flaws, but he is now worse then bowles
100% disagree. he was forcing throws into coverage constantly. especially his redzone throws. he could have easily been picked a few other times. the pass right before the eric berry pick he threw a pass to decker with 3 chiefs there. the all22 film is even uglier. he doesnt even look left on half his throws. just stares down to his right and tries to 'farve' it in there with bad favre like results
The one that really hurt was the throw intended for Powell on the sideline. Enunwa was wide open down the field. Fitz doesn't go through reads after 1, his mechanics are awful when he does.
When i read that it made me wanna puke. Sadly though..this is beginning to be the norm in the NFL. It isn't just Bowles & Rex. There is a major divide between the O & D rooms..it's not mean spirited..it's just how things seem to be. HC's seem to do alot less 1 on 1 coaching w/ the players & alot more film breakdown behind the scenes & big picture stuff. I have not been impressed w/ Bowles ability to keep the team focused, poised or performing at a high level. The game management is virtually nonexistent & the team has absolutely no killer instinct. What I do like about Bowles is the way he has handled the media,he runs a clean ship & he seemed to have a big voice in finally recognizing the need to get faster on both sides of the ball(Though that seemed obvious for a good decade)
Yet Decker, and especially Marshall, have been bailing Fitz out over and over again, all last season. Marshall's freak catches in traffic is what gave Fitz his record season last year. You don't think if Marshall is injured, off, that will effect Fitz's game? I do.
if thats how you feel then you have no reason to talk about clock management. Rex is the worst at clock management in the league among head coaches. Its his 8th year and he still fucks it up
it may effect it at some point but it certainly wasnt the issue in any of the first 3 games. film shows that clearly, he is locking in on guys and forcing it into heavy traffic. his overconfidence from buffallo showed bigtime.

Rex being an awful clock manager doesnt mean bowles also isnt an awful clock manager. rex isnt our coach and doesnt matter anymore.
Well... there's always the obvious comparison. Like Kurt Warner comparing Dak Prescott to Warren Moon. Hundreds of QBs to choose from and he picks a black QB.
