i dont hate the giants but i was very glad they lost and didn't get to 3-0, especially after watching the jets.

Carson Wentz is a stud. I was never a fan and thought he would bust. I thought Goff was better. Boy was I wrong.

It's fun to watch an offense execute. I forgot how that worked after yesterday.

Big body, big arm, big intelligence is a great combination for prospective QBs.

Goff looked more refined but it's frequently difficult to judge that coming into the NFL, besides looking at the system they play in.

Really unfair to compare. The Eagles have the best coaching staff in the NFL and the Rams have the worst.

there isn't a bigger bitch in the entire league than that vagina named Odell Beckham Jr. I am glad the net hit him in his face

Nope. He's more likely to get a bonus from upper team management than he is cut. They want that number 1 pick bad. The Browns coaching staff wanted Robbie Gould for moments like that so they could actually win but the suits said no, they preferred saving money and losing games.

c'mon Wentz is passing every eyeball test, and is way ahead of schedule.
and that 'worst coach in the NFL' just beat the Seahawks with no QB.

you'll need some new narratives, as those old ones aren't holding up well.

Wentz has Doug Peterson and Frank Reich, both former backup QB's who acted like coaches even during their playing careers. He's has great offensive coaches. This isn't an old narrative, this is a now narrative. Goff is stuck with Fisher and Boras and the worst offensive gameplan in the game. The score of the Rams-Seahawks game was 9-3 that's laughable you'd try to throw that at me like scoring 3 field goals is an offensive accomplishment. Do you think Trevor Seimien would be doing any good on a different team? Coaching and scheme is more important now than before. Everything is dink and dunk. We are seeing QB's all over the league step right in from college and do fine in the right system.

that 'worst coach in football' beat the Seahawks with a shit offense.....against their solid defense.
that is a big TEAM accomplishment and Win, which is what the HC is concerned about......not the score or offensive stats.
they are 2-1 with little talent, a top pick QB who is not ready, and no permanent home yet. extremely difficult situation for a coach, and he's managing it well so far.

your other dated narrative which you are trying to keep alive is Wentz not making a good NFL QB, while Goff is by far superior.
you can keep making excuses for Wentz success, but you are so far clearly wrong on that prediction.

might be time for a new angle....thats all i'm saying.

i do agree that coaching and scheme is extremely important to QB's tho...
just not willing to dismiss what i'm seeing from Wentz as purely coaching.

They are having Wentz dink and dunk all game. That's not going to last. At some point he's going to have to start throwing it downfield.

I'm not saying he can't or won't. I'm just saying I'm not all that impressed with him so far because there is not much to be impressed about

Also- I didnt realize Frank Reich was his offensive coordinator but it makes sense.

I know he sucked here as a player and was a buffalo Jill, but That guy deserves a head coaching job. Luck has gone downhill in Indy since he left, he worked wonders with Rivers in SD, now he's got this Div 1AA rookie playing well!

He was a HC candidate in Buffalo before they hired Rex. Thank god they were stupid and chose Rex. Reich with that defense and Sammy Watkins would've been nasty

Wow are you that fucking dense? We are comparing QB's and coaches In regards to OFFENSE. the Rams are undoubtedly the most fucked up situation in the league for a QB to be, now and going back the last few years: No wide receivers, terrible o-line, archaic playbook. Goff getting drafted there is probably a career death sentence. A 9-3 win only proves that Seattles offense was more pathetic that day, indeed Bevel is also among the worst OC's in the game.

I never said Wentz couldn't succeed what I argued against was him being a top first round pick. Trading the farm to move up for a dink and dunk QB is not smart imo, they could have the same results with a guy like Dak and paid a fraction of the price.
