The only people I've known that had interlock devices on their vehicles have had alcohol issues.

It's beyond me why someone with millions of dollars need to drive drunk. These guys should be rolling up to the club in a limo or a Bentley with a driver like a boss, not driving their Porsche obliterated drunk like a childish teenager.

With that being said, I loved him out of college, even though he seems to lack the passion to play he game. Either way, the lack of a tightend really prevents the offense from showing a balanced look, because whenever Kellen Davis is in, it's obvious we're running him across the formation to throw a shitty kick-out block where he gets blown up in the backfield. They refuse to let him block straight ahead because he probably sucks at it, and they also refuse to let him catch passes because well he definitely does suck at it.

This is a good move, and sometimes you take a chance on someone like him. He didn't murder someone, rape or hit his wife, or fight a bouncer outside the club. He did the same thing that Tim in Accounting did when he went to his high school reunion and was trying to be a show off. Second chances for drunk drivers is a very low risk at a position group for us that has been the worst in NFL history over the past year and a half. Solid move and a 6'6" target that at least when Fitz forces the ball to him in triple coverage in the end zone he can pop it up rather than try to fire it through the linebackers chest.

Im excited this kid is one of the better TE prospects to come out in awhile, big physical guy 6'6 260 can catch and block something Amaro could never do because he wasn't a true TE. But yeah he's a head case and was cut for a reason, it just feels like he didnt want to be there anymore. He's still pretty young at 23 and is a good redone threat 7 Tds in 18 games, fact is we upgraded got rid of Amaro and got him he still has potential hopefully the leadership in this locker room can get him on the right track. Tampa Bay is a pretty young team he strikes me as a guy whose in desperate need of guidance.

Everybody relax. Maybe IK Enkampali wasn't available to solve the QB problem.

He's most certainly not some type of career criminal but two DUI's later and he definitely has some growing up and maturing to do as an individual. Only time will tell.

I'm of the thinking that at the age of only 23 being surrounded by veteran professionals on offense such as Clady, Mangold, Fitzpatrick, Forte, Decker and Marshall can become a positive influence on ASJ but at the end of the day he's got to want it himself. Hopefully after being released by the team in which drafted him while being taken out of his comfort zone will begin to serve as a constant reminder of the mistakes that he's made off the field.

As a football player he's a well rounded TE with both pass catching and run blocking ability and at 6'5/262 he's built like a Rob Gronkowski. Potentially giving us another big target down inside the red zone.

I will say that it's odd that we'd release one disappointing TE from the 2014 draft class in Amaro, only to later pick up another disappointing TE from 2014's draft class in Seferian-Jenkins. Eric Ebron appears to be the head of that class @ TE.

ASJ should sit down and watch the movie "A Bronx Tale". Lorenzo said it best; "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent".

I thought we could swap our bonehead TE for Jenkins before the dui. It's pretty funny that it ended up happening via the waiver wire, or sad depending on how you look at it.

Thats because our tight ends suck. At least ASJ can catch.

Bowles: "We just released Idzik's disappointing 2014 TE in Amaro who just had a productive game".

Maccagnan: "No worries coach, I have Austin Seferian-Jenkins agent on line 2".

    Woody: "Make him a Jet".

He's got a lot of talent and a DUI isn't the worse thing someone can do. If bowles and our vets can help straighten him out, this could be a huge pick-up for us.

If it works out, great. If not, if he sucks/fucks up again/gets suspended til judgment day, kick him to the curb.

Like the move.......i am sure many of us at age 23 could have qualified for a DUI once or twice.

Get him some help-social and media support, a shadow for the rest of this year, and take it from there.

Not endorsing his actions but in football terms this is a low risk, hi reward move complete with the necessary team and individual protections.

Jace Amaro looks like a bigger Stephen Hill. Most awkward bodied deer on skates.
