Braylon Edwards could actually play football though. And didn't have OTHER issues which supposedly prompted his release besides even the DUI stupidity.
Yeah that's the other thing...they have three quality receivers plus Forte and Powell. If they need a TE for anything it's mostly to block.
do you not remember Scott Chandler on the Bills averaging 1 TD a game against us? Back when Gailey was the HC. That dude ALWAYS found the EZ against the Jets.
Yeah, exactly. What else happened that we haven't heard? Surprising a team would cut somebody on suspicion of DUI before he even went to court...was this the last straw?
Well I didn't even think about this one. It's low risk, high reward, so I'm anxious to see how he pans out.
Weird move, especially coming on the heels of Amaro's release - he had 3 catches for 60 yds this weekend. Sure, there's talent with ASJ and he's a big dude who probably blocks better than Amaro, but there's also a lot of baggage.
Fuck... I love this and then I don't. It sucks that we got him because of his incident off the field and it sucks it came on a claim which often results in these guys not learning their lessons BUT.... how often can you get a player of this potential in a position that we have NO ONE at. Hopefully this turns out to be a great move for us and also for him. Forte, Marshall, and others can hopefully take him under their wing.
