It's the scheme. I think they're not using the players right. I dunno what happened in the off-season, but they aren't using him like they did last season.

Hmm, the Chiefs whole offensive game plan were predicated on getting Pryor one on one against Kelce. Pryor put something on tape yesterday that has the rest of the TEs on our schedule licking their lips.

I think that hindsight talking. The main issue with Pryor pick was that he was another in-the-box safety drafted to a team who was already loaded with those at the time. The choice was between Pryor and Ha Ha Clinton Dix as they were neck and neck as the 2 top rated safeties. If we had to draft a safety, it should have been Ha Ha because he was the one that had the better coverage ability.

Interesting, I guess the added responsibility isn't a good look for Pryor?

Hes best when hes flying around in run support. He is not a free safety. We learned that year one. But theyre using him as a free safety.

Hes not a ball-hawking safety. He's not a coverage guy. Hes not Ed Reed. He is best suited to play in the box like a Bob Sanders ad destroy people. Rex Ryan had him play horribly out of position ad Im not sure Bowles is putting him in the best position to succeed eiher. But if youre looking fo rhim to have have 6 picks, you dont uderstand who he is

Yeah absolutely, not going to lie haven't been paying much attention to Pryor, will need to start doing so. It appears maybe Gilchrist isn't doing his job very effectively.

Its been this whole season. They had it right on sny. Im not sure why they changed. They played him to his strength last season, but this season they just have this whole defense out of whack. Way too conservative.

I think their confidence in the d-line and lack of in the backfield are contributing factors. Honest is simple, switch to a 4-3. Let the d-line pressure without blitzing allow pryor to freelance in the run game and let the recievers jam more. Not what theyve been doing.

Pryor's had a bad first 3 weeks. Idk if Pryor is a bust or not but if you compare him to what Eric Berry was doing on the other side it sure looks like it. Pryor has been invisible unless we see him getting torched. Berry was involved in every damn play.

I've been advocating that switch for sometime now. The only thing the 3-4 really does for the Jets is open up exotic blitzing and creating that element of surprise. QBs are throwing the football faster then ever, blitzing ain't working. Leaving Revis and the secondary in man ain't working.

Berry was a very special prospect coming out of TN. They even had a rap video for him that went viral. Dude was THAT good. Light years better then Pryor.

We honestly it would help Harris out too. He can play to his strengths. It isolates Lee on tge outside to play with those TE and such when he needs too. I think Mauldin can make the transition. If given time. It really just makes sense.

If Bowles doesnt do something he will have 3 years and out. It will be the lack of adjustments that will doom him. Not record.

True but they should do It exclusively at this point. They haven't been and its been leaving them in bad spots.

Honestly was thinking at one point that he looked kind of fat yesterday. I think it was just his uniform though.

Lorenzo Mauldin came from a 4-3, but his last year of college played some 3-4, it might suit him well to put him in that position again as a d-lineman. Lorenzo said it himself prior to the draft, he's a lineman at heart. Lee, Harris and Carter need to see more play in a 4-3, that way we can cover better down the middle and in the flats.

It should be the base defense. I haven't seen much improvement in Bowles coaching this year, I hope he gets it together, cause if not that seat will get warm next year. I ain't no coach, but the defense isn't making plays at all this year.

Im concerner about his lack of adjustments. I said it last season too. When his gameplans work he looks great, when they dont his staff struggles to adjust. Hes obviously got the knowledge as seen with him micd up last season yelling at cro, so why isnt it translating?

Lmao Calvin Pryor is a bust??? wow... i think i'm ready to retire from here..

Kelce is the next best thing to Gronk in the NFL...I really can't recall TE's having any effect vs the Jets since Pryor returned to SS. It happens one time and we suddenly forget how trash we were last year when Calvin Pryor wasn't on the field ( when he got the credit he deserved) .. dude has a bad game yesterday and suddenly all that goes out the window.

Jets fans are REAL the fucking busts.

Top 3 most TRASH fan base in the NFL... Gonna start watching jets games in my room in the dark... I need to distance myself from the non-level headed ones that make up 90% of the damn fan base. sickening.

Lets ignore the fact that we drafted Darron Lee to be the "TE stopper"... like this post if you DIDNT see Darron Lee in coverage on Kelce once...

Todd Bowles needs to better utilize that. Use him for what you drafted him for.
