I was going to write but you have summed up my feelings completely. Embarrassed to be a Jets fan today.
I'm typically a realist that leans towards the pessimist side. However, there are times where I have some optimism with this team. Never again. Not until there's a major change in our success or QB position.
Based on your handle, you SHOULD be optimistic. Our defense is legit. That's HUGE. No smoke and mirrors that will catch up to us. The only way teams beat us is if we beat ourselves, and all that is correctable. I honestly don't think we lose another game this season.
Start being optimistic when the Jets finally have a franchise QB. Until then, it'll be the same ol'crap over and over.
Come on! This was a tough game to win anyway. The QB tried to force in the throws and was picked. The coaches have to evaluate and if corrections can be done. Putting the ball on the ground is not something that can be anticipated. That's how they got behind. There is no answer for that.

He will not make a change at qb,,no way he won't do it. He said in the presser that he never considered pulling him, are you kidding me ? He also said we were still in the game only down 2 scores,,,memo to the coach you should have pulled your qb and definitely after pick number 5 when we went down more than 2 scores ! Also this defense needs its corners to play press in your face coverage not 9 yards off the line ,,,and Kelce and the rest of the tight ends roamed free all day simply amazing What's the use, next week the wheels come off because the Seahawks lost last week it ain't happening at MetLife no way
This QB is a journeyman and no matter how much you pay him he will be what he is. You have to have top players at other spots making plays to compensate for average QB play on many days. A great QB wins games where the rest of the club is average. QB's like Fitz do not lift a team on bad days.
Bowles is an idiot. Place him in that situation Fitz will do what he did. You wanted him you do what he can do.
It had nothing to do with him lifting anything. The team put the ball back in his hands 5 times down 14 points. He proceeded to throw 5 INT's. He 150% cost the team the game.
If Bowles really said that he never considered pulling Fitz, then he is too stupid to be our HC and should be fired tomorrow. I am now officially in the anti-Bowles camp.
