Any updates on both of K.C's starting guards?

I'm more intrigued to see if they'll be starting backups at LG & RG than I am with a possible return of Charles.

Two backup interior offensive lineman up against the likes of Wilkerson, McLendon, Richardson & Williams wouldn't be good for Alex Smith.

I'm not worried about it in terms of the depth chart at WR, but I am worried that Chan Gailey is such an old schooler that he'll call 70 running plays instead of putting any trust in the young trio of receivers he has waiting in the wings.

Due to the schedule we have coming up, that is a big game and IMO we have a great shot of taking it at Arrowhead.

Charles will be just getting his feet under him, I don't expect him to have much of an impact.

Jets D matches up well to their O, especially if they have a few O linemen out. Jets have been undone by the big play too much since Bowles has taken over, but KC is not a big play team and Smith doesn't have the arm to pull a lot of those throws off. If Revis gets burned this game, then there is a lot of credibility to the concern he is fading alarmingly fast.

I am trying not to get over excited about Enunwa as it has only been 2 games, but is Marshall missed the game in order to get back to 100 percent this seems to be the best game to do it out of the upcoming games.

This is the biggest threat right here. Giving KC good field position on KO's or punts. I hope we're ready for him.

I honestly believe Marshall is fine. Just a stinger on that one play. He looked good when he came back from being injured. He's enough of a vet that he doesn't have to be running around on the field to be ready.

This game just became far more crucial with the Brady-less Pats off to a 3-0 start.

The likely frontrunners for the AFC wildcard spots to be Cincinnati and KC. Cincinnati who we just lost a head to head to.

I'm not crowning the Pats AFCE Champs just yet but their fast start should make us look to the future.

I'm saying this is a MUST WIN game...

Hate to say it, but it would be very Jet like to go away from what was working.

If I could pick either team to represent me Sunday, I'd pick the Jets.

LOL KC lost to Houston ...

After seeing the Texans putz it up last night I am not sure how awesome the Chiefs claim to be

Not taking KC too lightly but have to feel good getting them now imo

I think this game rides on our D-line. We shut down the run and get after the QB like we did against the Bengals, the Chiefs don't have an A.J. Green to bail them out time and time again. I would certainly help to get the running game going, as their secondary can make Fitz pay for his wobbly noodle-armed ducks.

If our D-line lives up to their billing, the rest of the team just has to be average to secure the W.

The three way connection of "Team A beat Team B, and Team C rocked Team A, therefore my team will beat Team B" almost never works in the NFL.

EDIT: Unless Team B is genuinely awful, which Kansas City is not.

    Thanks.

Just caught K.C's latest injury report and their starting LG in Parker Ehinger has officially been ruled out, starting RG, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (ankle), who missed Sunday’s game against the Texans, has been limited in practice all week and is listed as 'questionable' and backup offensive lineman in Jah Red (knee/ankle) has also been ruled out.

With all of these injuries to Kansas City's offensive line this now creates for a big time opportunity for our Jets defensive front to physically dominate the L.O.S and with Alex Smith having been sacked 7x's, Cincinnati comes to mind.

We'll have to be ready for Jamaal Charles (if he were to play) but it doesn't look like he'll make his 2016 return debut againt the Jets. As of right now he's being listed as 'doubtful' after being limited in practice all week.

With that said the player we've got to be prepared for and keep an eye on (at all times) is none other than 3rd year HB in Spencer Ware (who's only 24 years of age). Ware has put up 21 rushing attemps for 127 rush yards and 1 TD; his average yards per rush attempt of 6.0 yards per carry is unheard of (long of 25) and he's also a threat to catch out of the backfield as K.C's leading receiver, having already recorded 9 receptions for 177 receiving yards.

Like Enunwa, Ware has been one of the NFL's biggest surprises and most improved players. I believe his 304 All-Purpose yards from scrimmage leads the entire NFL so I highly doubt, even if healthy, that K.C would feature a lot of Charles while putting their hottest hand in Ware on the back burner.

Ware should be another good test for our defense. Last year our Jets defense struggled mightily againt opposing HB's catching out of the backfield. Thus far throughout two games we seem to be much improved in that regard having done a good job limiting two good pass catching HB's during consecutive weeks in Bernard & McCoy. Spencer Ware should be another indicator on how much we've improved against pass catching HB's.

Maybe, but I wish all of us would just stop worrying about the Patriots because the Jets and us their fans can't
do anything about what they do. As of now, we could lose twice to the Pats and still finish 13-3 and win the
division. I just want us to get better as the season progresses and hope for no injuries. We don't have much
depth, so injuries are a major factor. What happens when Decker and/or Marshall and/or Enunwa are down?
    Who takes their place?

If Jets want to be a serious contender they need to go into Arrowhead and win this game. Based on the performance of the Jets and Chiefs thus far, I think the Jets should be in control for the whole game, but I'll of course take a 1 point win on a FG in the waning seconds.

But there's no excuse to lose this game, the Chiefs are not that good, and they are missing some of their best players.

Outside of our divisional games (especially two games against N.E) I feel that these games below consisting of

    vs Cincinnati (L).
    @ Kansas City.
    @ Pittsburgh.
    vs Baltimore.

Are our 4 biggest games of the year.

Possibly another one vs. Indianapolis if they can turnaround their 0-2 start.

We've already lost to Cincinnati. We can not afford to lose to Kansas City. We had 5 AFC Conference loses last year and missed the postseason with a 10-6 record.

Already having two AFC Conferenc loses after only 3 weeks could spell potential trouble moving forward.

This K.C game is as big of a week 3 game as it gets.
