Three-way tie it is. Pretty much wipes out the good feeling from last weekend, doesn't it?

Rockies pound the Cards, so time for Bart to take advantage and put the Mets up a game. Bruce out of the lineup, and who knows when he'll be back in it.

Sigh. No sooner do I compliment Collins, then this brings back all of the reasons I've thought Collins was a lousy manager for years.

Cespedes dogs it off the bat and ends up on second when Kemp drops the ball instead of on third. Lovely.

Well yes, it's good that Cespedes is on third now, but there are also two strikes now.

Yeah, getting the .189 hitting Plawecki up in the most important at bat of the game was definitely what we were hoping for, Terry. Him swinging at two balls way out of the strike zone couldn't be expected or anything.

And the Mets blow another game to this crappy team. Familia is such a joke.

Only thing we can hope for is a SF loss to keep this thing a 3-way tie

Don't really understand how Bruce or Nimmo don't hit for Plawecki. That guy is such a hot steaming pile of shit

Wow, Johnson walks d'Arnaud - that's pretty unforgivable.

Unbelievable - Cespedes puts it over the fence and Inciarte brings it back.

The last two innings was as big a c*ck tease as anything the Jets ever pulled and that's saying something. I swear between these two teams I wish I was a non-sports fan.

Really this whole run was one whole tease. Go from life support to a 20-7 run with our starting pitching falling apart, only to melt down AGAIN against the FREAKING ATLANTA BRAVES!

It never ceases to amaze me how limited the timespan of dominance is for closers. They're never shut down for more than 2-3 years which makes Mariano Rivera so amazing. He may not have been that 99th percentile guy for a couple years, but he was always a consistent 95th+ percentile guy for 2 decades straight
