You love it when black men are shot. Without their sacrifice you'd have no cause. The more black men who disobey the cops and get shot, the more you can rally against the cops. Keep perpetuating the behavior that gets black men killed and pretending you actually care.

So far there is zero evidence they should have been treating him like a suspect/threat in the first place. As i pointed out in my first post, the only reason he was interacting with the police is his car stalled. I've checked Fox News huff Post and CNN and none of them say any differently.

I'll get right on that princess. I'd say the same to you but honestly, I couldn't be bothered.

I already made my position on the matter clear, addressing both the issue of the cop's actions and the victims; you can read it if you are interested in whether we agree or disagree with the cops actions.

What I'll add to that is this -- there are five cops drawing down on him; only one interpreted his actions to that point to be threatening to the point that it required deadly force. So let's not condemn all the police on the scene just yet because one panicky officer jumped the gun -- pun intended. Because that's part of the problem with these conversations -- the over reaching condemnation.

I've been in that situation and it's more than meets the eye. All these expert police on this NY fucking Jets forum have already made up their collective hive minds.
You have not a clue how you would react to somebody reaching into there car while 4 professional police officers are clearly telling him to stop stop what he is doing.
My guess is there are some military vets here and even some cops that have been in this type of situation. Most of the keyboard warriors here have never even touched a weapon much less made a life or death decision with one.
These guys have already been condemed by the 'experts' here.

PCP found in the car adds another possible factor.

The question though is should reaching into a car be deemed justification to shoot absent of any visual on a weapon or threat? We can all agree that is a scary situation and nobody is arguing cops should be held to the completely nonsensical restrictions our soldiers were handcuffed by that stated they can't shoot until fired upon, but at least seeing a weapon should be required before deadly force is justified, not simply firing because he won't listen and you fear he's reaching for a weapon.

Unless you are a cop you have no basis to criticize cops for anything they do. It's pretty simple.

I fully agree it's not all cops and support those that do an incredibly tough job. It's s small percentage making them all look bad with cases such as this, at least as it appears to be at the moment. The other issue is why are five cops drawing on a guy because his vehicle stalled? It's just not adding up. Hopefully more info comes out to fill in the blanks.

One officer used his taser the other used her gun. The officer who shot him with a bullet f'ed up. Then you have this :

The officer's attorney says she was afraid Crutcher was reaching for a weapon when she opened fire. Attorney Benjamin Crump, part of the legal team representing Crutcher's family, countered at a Tuesday news conference that Crutcher's window was rolled up, making it unlikely he was reaching into the car.

She should be charged with murder but we all know whatever the charge she'll walk free in the end.

Calm down. This isn't the Michael Brown case were we had nothing but he said she said, these are opinions based on the video we watched.

Being drunk (or drugged) and disorderly is not a capital offence. There was no weapon, no one other than the one cop thought there was a weapon, no one other than the one cop fired a shot.

This was a traffic assist, why were the cops guns drawn? I don't think she shot a black guy for the fun of it, I don't think she meant to shot him, but she did and for no reason that was viewable on this video.

And this... it ain't cops or all combat vets who will hear this case in court (if it goes that far) it's going to be average Jills and Joes like many of us. They will watch the same video we just watched.

She's entitled to a defense. No need to vilify her or her legal reps for defending her.

Unless we think she twirled her mustache plotting to kill a black man, we can admit she likely believed, in the moment, she thought she was justified in her actions even if She seems to have been wrong.

What she thinks and what she is supposed are different here and she definitely cannot justify it here.. She did not follow protocol and got trigger happy. I expect big problems for her...Not sure how the courts are in Tulsa but she may need to convince a jury

It's clear you have made up your mind on the whole situation so being I am still up in the air.
Why was he walking away from all the officers?
Why did he lower his hands in what looked like he was going to get something from the car?
Why was he stopped right in the middle of the road?
In no way am I saying any one of these things gives justification but I am looking at the situation as a whole.

The first officer, who happens to be the female, was on the way to another call and just came upon a car stopped in the middle of the road.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/20/us/oklahoma-tulsa-police-shooting/index.html
Officer Betty Shelby was the first to arrive, but she wasn't responding to the 911 call, said her attorney, Scott Wood. Shelby was en route to a domestic violence call when she encountered Crutcher, who she thought might be impaired, and then the SUV in the middle of the road, Wood said.
She asked Crutcher whether the car belonged to him but got no response, the attorney said. Crutcher began walking toward her with his hands in his pockets. She politely asked Crutcher to take his hands out of his pocket while they were speaking, Wood said.
"He does comply and puts his hands out of his pocket, and then puts his hands up in the air, which she thought was a little bit strange under the circumstances," he said.
Crutcher continued to ignore Shelby's questions about the vehicle and at one point walks toward the back of the police cruiser and puts his hands back in his pockets, the attorney said. Shelby called dispatch and was intent on arresting him because she thought he was under the influence of something, he said.
She drew her gun and ordered Crutcher to get on his knees, which he refused to do, Wood said. He instead walked toward his car.

if any one of those things don't give justification then why the hell do they matter?

might as well ask what he had for breakfast that morning. did he order the mcmuffin prior to being shot by the trigger happy cop? ... Sorry I am just looking at the situation as a whole

My point is she can be convicted for f'ing up without vilifying her as a black hunting racist.
