Enough with the Bowles hating. He isn't perfect, but no coach is and especially no second year coach. There are bad coaches in the league (Mularkey, McCoy, Fisher, etc.) but he isn't one of them.
I don't think he's a bad coach, but stuff like not going for two up by 12 at the end of the game just drives me insane. There is zero excuse for that. NONE. It's a fucking chart. Some coaches don't like to follow the chart before the 4th quarter. Fine. I can live with that. But, with 3 and a half minutes left in the game, up by 12, you follow the fucking chart 100 out of 100 times. One of the assistant coaches should have called a timeout just to argue with him. That's how inexcusably moronic that decision was.
That play only happened once. He adjusted and made sure it never happened again. That was also on Revis.
Yeah that was dumb. I was furious we didn't go for 2. But with Bowles, it's little things like that that are his problem. And he can get better at the little things as he gets more experience. Unlike some coaches who just can't put a winning team on the field.
You do realize it's week 2, if Revis really has fallen off that much week 2 is not the time ajustments will be made. Revis isn't in 100% game shape yet is the true issue, he will be back to normal by week 4-5.
Revis got soft. That last Buffalo touchdown is on Revis too. He is right there to make the tackle, but he hesitates instead. Revis is not Revis anymore.
