from Boston Globe...... Sunday: Periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog. High near 61. Northeast wind between 6 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
time for some smashmouth football...niceeeeee...vilma is ready to make dillon and maroney his bitches
Weather in Foxboro Looking at a live shot of Gillette stadium on CBS Sunday Blitz, there are some torrential rains coming down.
Gillete Stadium has the worst field in the NFL. The center of the field is devoid of grass. Mud bowl indeed.
anyone watching on espn? foggy as hell, heavy downpours...should be wild...need a big game from neon leon/barlow
I agree. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about a game in poor weather conditions is a game of tough running and tough defense. Both of which happen to be Jets' weaknesses and Patriots' strengths. It's not exactly like the Jets had that good of a chance to begin with, but this certainly doesn't help.
Well there still is 40+ minutes until gametime, maybe the worst of it will have passed by then. I really wish this was a 4 oclock game.
Did you watch that game? Giant clumps of sod were flying up. Looked like the sod trays the Jets used.
Foxborough Heavy Rain = ? Ball Control? A whole lotta Kevin Barlow ? I would have no Problem with that if we can sustain the Running game. Only thing is I don't think our O-Line is well suited (Right now) for this style of play. Unfortunately, Neither is our pathetic D-Line. We need to play the style of D that we played in the 4thQ 2 weeks ago. Barlow is a little nicked up so Today is a great opportunity for our Youngins to provide sustainable drives via RBBC.... They're young. Rested off a Bye. Why not? ....We can do this!
