You need a few years to get production out of Leinart, Benson, Edwards and Williamson. If you pick up a good back in next years draft you should be a ton more competitive.

Yep. I guess I was spoiled last year making the playoffs without a legitimate RB. Lightning doesn't strike twice!

Kitna is definitely the way to go at QB for now though, Leinart can do his learning on someone else's time!

Anyone want a Doug Gabriel or a Julian Peterson?

I feel really bad. I won by 19 with 21 from Owen Daniels, who I only picked up as a scrub to cover McMichael's bye week, and who grabbed 2 scores in garbage time...Apologies to my opponent!

Well we are 3/4 done with the season after tonight's game. If you're out of it please just set up your roster for the rest of the year. Playoff picture comes Tuesday.

Is it 2 teams per divsion that make the playoffs?

My team has come on string after an 0-3, 1-4 start I have won 4 straight to pull into a tie for 1st w/ Easton Red Rovers(I'm not sure whose team that is?) and we are matched up this week. I have 3 staright tough games w/ ERR then 9-0 Rambo's Evil Monkey's then Douglas Mean Machine.

It's 4 div. champs plus 4 wild cards, you're in a 4-way tie for 6th-8th with tiebreakers yet to be figured out(it's head-to-head and unless everyone played each other it can't be figured out for now).

playoff seeding(6-9 and 11-14 are not accurate)
    1. Rambo 9-0
    2. Edge 7-2
    3. Hellcats 6-3
    4. Edge 5-4
    ----------------------
    5. Mean Machine 6-3
    6. Renegades 5-4
    7. Juggernauts 5-4
    8. junc 5-4
    --------------------
    9. Average Joe 5-4
    10. Punishers 4-5
    11. Tony 3-6
    12. MSU 3-6
    13. Mighty Ones 3-6
    14. Wombats 3-6
    15. Mile High 2-7
    16. Crawdads 1-8

14 teams still alive in the playoff hunt.

Wow! in a battle for 1st place I beat the easton red Rovers by a point. I almost was unable to remove castillo for Pat Williams and if I hadn't been able to I would have lost as Williams got me 10 pts.

Playoff standings as of today(3 games to go)
    *1. Rambo 10-0
    2. Edge 8-2
    3. Average Joe's 6-4(won head to head over junc & Hell Cats)
    4. NYJ UNC 6-4
    ------------------------------
    5. Mean Machine 7-3
    6. Renegades 6-4 (no head-to-head)
    6. Hell Cats 6-4
    8. Juggernauts 5-5 (no head-to-head)
    __________________________
    8. Red Rovers 5-5
    10. Papal Punishers 4-6 (faces MO in week 12)
    10. Mighty Ones 4-6

    *-clinched playoff spot

playoff births can be clinched as followed
Edge - win or one of the two of Juggernauts/Red Rovers lose
Mean Machine - win and one of the two of Juggernauts/Red Rovers lose
Maybe playoff births for Joe's, Hellcats, UNC, & Renegades with wins and 2/4 - Juggernauts/Red Rovers/Papal/MO loss(tiebreakers are too much for me for now)

    Tie breakers
Playoff Seeding Tiebreaker: The process by which the system breaks any ties at the end of the regular season to determine the seeding in the playoff bracket. Whichever option is selected will act only as the first tiebreaker and if there still remains a tie between two or more teams the system will use the default playoff seeding tiebreaker system (listed below). Note: The league manager can override any system setting if desired.

    # Head-to-Head Record: If selected, the system will break the tie based on the head-to-head record between the two tied teams. If there's more than two teams - and they didn't play the same number of h2h games - the system will use the default tiebreaker system.
    # Total Points For: If selected, the system will break the tie based on which teams scored the most total points during the season. If this does not break the tie(s) the system will use the default tiebreaker.
    # Intra-Division Record: If selected, the system will break the tie based on which teams had the best intra-division record. If there's more than two teams and/or they do not have the same number of intra-division games the system will use the default tiebreaker.
    # Points Against: If selected, the system will break the tie based on which team had the most total points scored against them during the season. If this does not break the tie(s) the system will use the default tiebreaker.
    # Quarterback Points For: If selected, the system will break the tie based on which team had the most total points scored from their starting QB slot(s) over the regular season. This is also applicable to the Team QB roster slot. If this does not break the tie(s) the system will use the default tiebreaker.

Default Playoff Seeding Tiebreaker. In all cases where the selected tiebreaker does not the break the tie the following lists the order the system will resolve the tie. Keep in mind that the league manager can override any system setting if desired.

    1. Head-to-Head Record
    2. Intra-Division Record
    3. Total Points For
    4. Points Against
    5. Quarterback Points For

Some schedules might of changed because of an scheduling error, my bad.
While on topic I'll suggest this again with the proposal of saving the last 3 games for divisional games so there will be increased interest in the games down the stretch and potentially have division deciding games in weeks 11-13 instead of weeks 1-10. So it would be for weeks 1-10(non-divisional games) and 11-13(divisional games). There are arguments about this but I see it as people will more likely play later in the season to play spoiler.

If Tony doesn't respond there will be an opening in the league for a new member to take over his current team. I'll wait for now for his response. BTW I know some of you don't like ESPN so I'll have a vote on what host we should use next year(reminder we're in year 2 of a 3 year league on ESPN)

    Keeper Leagues
Keeper Leagues starting in 2004 will be carried over in the 2006 Fantasy Football format. Once the previous keeper leagues finish their 3-year term, there will be no more keeper leagues in Standard Leagues. If you wish to continue with the same league members the following year, you can create a league and invite any or all of the members that would like to continue. If you create a Customizable League, you will be able to re-activate the league every year for as long as you choose. You will be able to designate your Customizable League as a Keeper League.
