"We made some bad mistakes out there and I take full responsibility for that. I can guarantee you one thing - we're gonna get that stuff fixed. Blah Blah Blah"
We go for it on fourth down in the first Bills game last year and the armchair geniuses blast Bowles for not taking the points. Now Bowles takes the points and the the geniuses say he should've gone for it.
I'm tired of the Jets being the team where inexperienced coaches come to get on the job training. Let's just hire an experienced coach next time.
Nothing ever upsets Todd "Golly Gee" Bowles. He has no passion for the game. Hopefully, it's just this year and next at the most. Then Macc can pick his own head coach.
I will say, losing to Rex three times is not going to help his resume. I am not saying he's in danger yet, but shit the bed against the Bills twice again and it could come back to haunt him. Bowles needs to get fired up for this one.
I agree. Can't criticize him for not gambling. But his coverage schemes are killing us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm just the opposite. I miss dialing up the Rex presser after a bad loss, and coming away feeling a bit better. I miss Rex throwing Political Correctness in the trash can. God I hate PC. I miss "Three home teams advance and the fucking NY Jets!!!!" I DON'T miss falling asleep during EVERY Todd Bowles news/press conferences, because I've stopped watching them. Hate on Rex as HC all you want, but when it came to the podium, there was never any better.
That depends upon your definition of "better" and what you want/expect from your HC. I don't want my HC to be an entertainer or comedian, giving bulletin board material to opponents, or acting/talking like a moron in press conferences. That's what Rex was good at. IMO he sucked at press conferences, because it was all about Rex and not what was best for the team.
