So essentially the season is over. Brady out 4 games this season and we could start 0-5 (I think we go 3-5 at best). Way to capitalize JETS. SOJ...
LOL......there were times that i felt like i wäs watching a game from the 80's and early 90's and with pat leahy leaving pts on the field. LOL Team started out impressive like world beaters until something happens......fumble, penalty, failed first down, red zone screw job.....whatever and they come away with zilch where it really could have been 14-0. Things go back and forth after that but lets face it - less than stellar execution by our passing game and secondary. Hang in there and take the lead late but can't hold on for several reasons. Us veteran fans have seen this script many times before. Oh well.
answer: We won't blow it.. We'll play well enough to lose though. Watkins should put 150+ on Revis Island Resort and Spa. Probably will take the towels home as souvenirs.

Their star TE was out, Vontza Burfict was out. New OC, and they don't have Marvin Jones or Sau , so their receiving core was greatly weakend today. And this was one of the few home games that the Jets have against the elite teams they'll be playing over the next five weeks.
Like I said..between 7-9 and 9-7. This is a mediocre team with some depth at positions (WR and D Line) and lacking depth (secondary). The one positive is the offensive line looked decent today and Brian Winters had a good game.
The Jets won the last 5 home openers, and didn't make the playoffs in any of those years. Thats all I need to move on.
The secondary on this team is depressing too. Not to mention our red zone efficiency and play calling. People have a right to vent after a winnable game like this. Especially after this team snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Thank you Nick Folk for not doing your job. Thanks Chan Gailey for crawling into a shell on offense when you should have shown some courage and called something other than 3 consecutive running plays inside the redzone. Thanks Kacy Rodgers for not providing safety help for Revis after Prior went out. That's not ranting, those are just a few callouts.
That's what fans do..leave the bullshit to the people who get paid for it, nobody listens to them anyway.
