I think the Bengals offense is actually in fairly good shape, even with the losses of MLJ and Sanu. While he's not Eifert, Tyler Kroft is a talented young TE who can make plays. Tyler Boyd, while a rookie, has looked very impressive, and I think he'll be heavily involved in the game plan. With LaFell, who knows...still waiting for him to show something. The Bengals O-line is healthy at all 5 spots and that's huge as well. I think Jeremy and Gio will be big factors in this game, with the outcome depending on how well they play. While the Jets have been very stout against the run, I think Zampese will want to try to test that early. If Jeremy and Gio can make plays running the ball and catching out the backfield, it will open up things for Andy and greatly improve the Bengals chances of getting the win. While the Jets have a pretty talented roster and the game is on the road, I still think the Bengals plenty of ammo, on O and D, to win this game. I think it'll be a fun game to watch and I'm excited to see how it plays out. Here's to hoping both teams come out of the contest injury free as well. Just glad to finally have real football to watch again!
If I were the Bengals I would definitely be testing running at the edge of the Jets defense. Our OLB's are questionable at best. Running inside is probably a lost cause. As an aside, we're now within 24 hours of kickoff. Tick tock.
This game is a must win for so many reasons. Most importantly the Bengals are a wildcard contender with us and the loser already starts second fiddle. Almost as important, momentum. The beginning of the schedule is a minefield that could end the season before it begins. Best way to deal with that is grab the bull by the horns and shove those horns up its own ass. Let's do this! At this point save Harris for the Buffalo game. We need for our O to step it up and give the D more than a 3 point cushion over the course of the game.
Got a bad vibe about tomorrow, injury type vibe. We sure as hell cant afford any with this first half sked.
its not just that we dont have snacks. snacks made up for alot, he masked issues. without him those issues become problems. we dont have a NT we can trust. Harris is a corpse, and we cant rely on any of our LBs to set the edge or get off blocks. its an issue.
yet you have no issues respecting us after the bills game? cincy is much much more talented. especially where it counts (qb, oline) i know there are alot of sunshiners, but honestly im shocked with the optomism on this game. i see this something like 24-14 cincy. maybe worse if fitz is pick happy
McLendon is a decent NT. And we're going 4-3 on rushing downs, which should help. Do I expect us to top the league in run defense again? No, but compared to other problems we have (O-line, thin secondary, etc), run defense isn't that big a concern.
May 27, 1999 - May 28, 2016. 17 years young is too young. His birthday present was being shot to death for no reason. Fuck Cincinnati
His strength was unmatchable and his coverage technique was the best. You could even put him in protection. He played like he was willing to give his life
