I can imagine a passing down package that includes our 3 beastly lineman, Revis, cb2, Skrine, Mauldin, Lee, Gilchrist, Allen and Pryor. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Essentially a Dime defense, with Allen (or Miles or Pryor) playing an ILB role.. i could see that.. I could also see a Big Nickel, again with a 3rd S playing ILB. against spread type finesse offenses only of course. not against big physical teams who like to rush the ball.
lol only Jets fans make appreciation threads for backup safteys.Wheres the "Gus the Grasscutter" appreciation thread.
In looking at our schedule, it seems as though we're going to encounter a lot more spread teams or at least 3 WR sets that operate out of the shotgun. Arizona, Indy, KC, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and even Miami and Buffalo whom are teams that are going to run the ball but out of multiple WR looks. The days of two wide receivers, a tightend and a fullback of line it up and jam the ball up the middle for 5 are just about over.
