I know we have an NFL forum so hopefully this thread can be merged into the NFL forum after the game but i thought a game thread could be appropriate since it's opening night while Denver's in the AFC as a playoff contender. Let's go Carolina! Denver had a solid opening drive until their fumble.
Well that was childish. Not sure if it was "do it again and we eject you" childish, but rules are rules. What an odd legacy for that Norman/Beckham nonsense. I'm expecting an easy Panthers win, but we'll see.
What an opening TD drive for Carolina. Tried telling everyone Denvers defense wouldn't be the same after losing a couple of key players. And my boy out of FSU (Benjamin) is an animal!
Denver's hanging tough. I can't believe how well their offense is playing (either that or Carolina's young secondary isn't very good).
Denver has 0 chance of making the playoffs. They have an awful situation at QB along with a defense that's going to come back down to earth. Been saying this throughout the entite offseason.
O.k maybe I'm being a little too over excited on opening night. Denver is actually sticking with Carolina. And what do I know? Denver could end up competing for a playoff spot so no, don't root for for Denver tonight. I just feel every time an NFC team beats an AFC team it's helpful for our Jets playoff chances.
