So, you've unearthed some video on YouTube that somehow eluded 31 professional scouting departments.

    Congratulations.

I know Fitz wasn't the best with the deep ball last year but I think people acting like he's incapable of throwing it are off base.

    In '14 he completed 57 of 88 passes 21+ yards in the air downfield for 824 yards, 7 TD's and 2 int's. Of the 31+ yard passes he was 16 of 21 for 154 yards, 3 TD's and 0 int's.

Surely he can throw the deep ball. Maybe coming off the broken leg hampered him a bit last year?

I am encouraged by his production this preseason. Hopefully the Jets can find a way to use his speed. may be some slant routes like Rice used to run. Seeing as he is not afraid of going over the middle, maybe he can show some speed after receiving the pass. Fitz can't go deep but the intermediate throw I think he can make with accuracy.

truthfully i think Victor Cruz is a great comparison for him ( at least vs the #2's and 3's). That's exactly who he looked like out there... you guys nailed it.

Now, what's this kids role gonna be? That Owusu, Dev Smith, Thompkins role? that all 3 failed at via injury and stone hands (thompkins)

If so i think that's perfect for him.. we need that solid middle and outside deep threat so we can keep Decker in the slot and watch him eat the nickel CB's alive!

After Robby Anderson stole the preseason show as the most productive wide receiver (while showing his ability, overall potential and promise on the field) if you were to re-do the 2016 NFL draft tomorrow; Robby Anderson doesn't go undrafted. Chances are he'd be one of the 1st 5 WR's selected.

If only the scouts could've seen him in preseason play, before draft day; and we're talking a completely different story.

You really need to cool your heels on Robby here dude, take off the green colored glasses. I can see him being selected in the top 10 of receivers, but I don't think he wouldve been drafted over a Sterling Shepard or Mike Thomas from OSU. Those guys have #1 receiver potential. I think in due time Robby could be a great Robin to a Batman.

I truly believe after watching his preseason tape (i.e. highlights on NFL.com), that this kid will be in the NFL Hall of Fame. The only question is whether the Hall waives the 5 year entry requirement.

Im sure the YouTube was available to them if they wanted to watch it. He's in the Stefon Diggs mold of player aka next Antonio Brown type potential. These players have some athletic red flags that cause them to be undervalued but their superior on-field skills render those short comings irrelevant. Brown is the top WR in the game right now and he was a sixth rounder. Diggs was a fifth rounder. Clearly these professional scouting departments are fundamentally flawed in how they value these types of players.

With all the comments about how inaccurate he is, why again did we want him back so much?

Interesting! So the trash talk isn't just all for naught, care to make a wager? Subject to the Moderator's approval, I'll be happy to bet you $100 (with each of us placing our respective $100 bank checks or money orders in the hands of the site's Moderator prior to game one) that Robby Anderson will exceed Alex Van Dyke's total 5 year career statistics for yards (219) receptions (26) and TDs (3) over the course of this year's regular season. Kindly acknowledge and confirm your acceptance of the wager herein.

Still better than the alternative. This is what happens when you have a league with a distinct lack of talent at the QB position.

Is that where Kellen Winslow Jr got caught settling a score with himself?

+1 Altoona. I'd take that bet right alongside of you. But this Alex Van Dyke comparison was a joke to begin with. We were talking about physical physique and which players Anderson resembles body structure wise. He threw out Van Dyke's name for whatever reason.

I always thought Van Dyke was closer to 5'11/6'0 let alone 6'3 as is Anderson, no?
