Not sure if you're being sarcastic but if so, (not to kill your buzzkill) but your sarcasm was all for not. And below I'll explain why.

By reading through the entire conversation you would've both taken note as well as comprehended the fact that we weren't "comparing" him to legendary status to that of Moss nor discussing All-Pro predictions of becoming "the next A.J Green". Not at all; we were simply comparing his physical physique to that of a taller, slimmer (Moss) along with a comparison to A.J Green's 'style of play' when fielding deep passes on the sideline.

Key points being body structure/build & style of play being a tall 6'3 Wide Receiver.

The word you were searching for is "naught".

Nice correction. Although 'reading comprehension' ability is what you're obviously lacking in regards to your sarcastic post's.

With that said, would you care to discuss Robby Anderson the football player, with insightful contribution?

I'm sure that N.Y Giant fans underestimated the potential and overall ability of Victor Cruz as well (after his preseason emergence).

Speaking of the preseason, over the last 20 years how many Jet receivers (and there's been lots of them) have put up the types of statistical numbers as that of Robby Anderson?

    Just listen to yourself.

I guess preseason means nothing (sarcastic). If that were the case maybe coach Todd Bowles should've released Robby Anderson and kept the likes of Amaro & Bohanon? Remarkable.

Since it's only the preseason I have yet another question for you...

How many preseason sacks did Vernon Gholston ever record?

Same size and speed as Alex Van Dyke, but less talent.

Will probably end up with similar career statistics.

    You're right.

Van Dyke did have 17 catches one season.

That may prove to be too high a hurdle for Anderson.

David Clowney comes to mind. I don't remember him attacking the ball like Anderson does though.

Wasn't Alex Van Dyke more like 6'0 in height? While Anderson's 6'3...

In reality we really don't know exactly what we have in Robbie at this point, but one thing is for sure. He is showing some real promise, can catch the ball and fly after the catch. Enough for the CS to keep him against some pretty decent competition. We have no idea what his ceiling is, but sure is nice for us Jet fans to get a chance to find out for a change. I can't wait. OL or not My new hero is non other than Big Mac...the Anti Idzik. They should have a Jet jersey with his name on it.

Can someone clear this up for me, was Andersons production strictly with Petty as the QB?

Or was he productive with Fitzy as well?

I'm not trying to be subtle, but if his production was exclusively with Petty then we don't know how he will translate with Fitz as his QB.

Not knocking Fitz, but winning the confidence of your starting QB takes time during meaningful football games.

    Two words: cherry picking.

(Look, I like Anderson and look forward to see what he can do. But seriously, calm down. We have a long way to go.)

Can't say, not sure how much Anderson played with the #1's and Fitz in the games. But it's safe to say Fitz is familiar from camp. Anderson will have his chances

I'm thinking he's most likely the speed threat envisioned for the D. Smith/Thompkins role in Gailey's O to keep D's honest, initially. He's gonna be better than Thompkins, and the likes of Owusu, because he's a better route runner on top of his high end ball handling and speed. J. Marshall as a slot guy may be a guy Fitz can entrust also as he has better options overall.

There's one ball to go around after BMarsh, Deck, Forte, Powell, and a more experienced Enunwa.
But Anderson is no doubt gonna have opportunities and could end up taking away receptions from Enunwa if he blends in

The other thing I forgot to add earlier, is that I found it interesting that the very first two highlights were punt returns, then there wasn't another. Of course, I think he's too tall to be an effective PR in the NFL, but it just further shows his ability and hands.
