The app alerts me. That's why im usually quick to respond. These eagles fans are on cloud 9, but i can say, not everyone was sold on wentz being a starter, and that includes me. I think youre gonna see geno 2.0. A qb with measurables that needs time, being rushed into service on a team with NO talent. That's what i love how the team handled Petty. It was either trade for Geno, pick up Sanchez, or trade for Bradford. Crazy as it sounds, they made the right move.
At the wrong price. I mean if they were a SB contender a la last years Broncos who just needed competence at QB, MAYBE I could understand paying this much. But a 1st and a 4th for a chance at a one-and-done wild card? I'll laugh my ass off if they still finish 8-8.
The only way I can understand this trade is if the Vikings think Bridgewater's injury may keep him out for more than just 2016.
This is like a a frigging Madden trade. Sign x player during FA then dump him on a computer team for picks. Bradford is this side of average and those Minn picks could just as easily end up between 10-15 as not. 1st and a 4th is a lot to secure 2nd place and a wild card.
The thing I don't get about it is that Bradford won't be ready til what? October? Week 3? It took Cassel, an extremely smart guy, a month to learn the playbook and get into a regular season game. Shaun Hill isn't great, but is Bradford a premium draft pick upgrade over Hill, for possibly only 12 games? Bizarre trade. The Vikings have a great young roster, but they may have unfortunately just set themselves back.
Great, great trade by the Iggles. Not only did they get 2 picks for Bradford but they will probably get pretty high picks as Bradford sabotages the Vikings season. And the 4th round pick in 2018 can elevate to a 2nd rounder based on some unannounced conditions. For Sam Bradford. Wow.
I think you're all forgetting that the Vikes are opening a new stadium this year and really need to have a strong showing to keep fan interest alive- most Viking fans I know (and I live in Viking country) were very disheartened when Teddy B went down and when they picked up Bradford, many were really happy.
Most of the people posting on here have no idea ho professional sports work. You brought a breath of fresh air and realism to the forum. I'm sure it will be roundly rejected by the "Vikings should have tanked the season" idiots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jetblue, you are trolling. kindly stop. buzzkill. i think folks think bradford is mediocre, and all the happiness in the world doesnt win football games or keep a guys body together.
