Me either, anything could happen. Petty lights the world on fire and they seem big time improvement in terms of his command in the huddle, maybe Geno gets traded instead. Maybe the worst thing that can happen to Petty is ... he sucks, gets cut, makes it back onto our practice squad and we still have 4 qbs lol. Best case for the Jets for THIS year only.
You guys aren't very creative. How about Geno for a 7th that escalates to a 6th if he takes over 50 snaps this year, to a 5th if he takes the most snaps of any QB for them, a 4th if he gets them in the playoffs, a 3rd if they win a playoff game with him, a 2nd if they make the SB, and a Bridgewater if they win the VLT?
