I trust the staff in knowing that folk still got it. He's been with us for a while now and made some clutch kicks
He's also only 4/6 in preseason and missed a couple of chip shots in that first game and has also missed an extra point. He's inconsistent and unreliable. Folk kicks 80% for his career, and 86% the past three seasons. He's also never missed an extra point in his career. Folk's also kicked a field goal of 51 yards or longer in every single year he's been in the league, and 17/26 from 50+ with us over the past 6 years. Let's stick with the sure thing here, ya friggain Negative Nancy.
Pretty sure Folk played in the first two preseason games. You know, the ones where Martin missed nearly everything.
They should have Folk and Martin face each other on the 50 yard line. Then take turns kicking each other in the nuts. First one to go down or puke is off the team. This shit is so simple.
why the surprise? he looked absolutely terrible last game, and hasn't managed to dent the depth chart at either G or T. really hasn't done anything at all since he's been here. a draft selection doesn't buy multiple years of doing nothing. i'm glad they cut bait.
I hadn't heard about his performance really, hence my thread about OL play I made. That's unfortunate he's looked bad. I'll look for it once I watch the Giants game. I haven't gotten a chance to yet.
