1. Geno Smith 2. Kellen Davis 3. Brian Winters I feel like Breno Giacomini and Devin Smith are also high on this list. Last season Quigley and Demario Davis were very unpopular.
As far as fan base expectations I'd say Milliner, Smith and Amaro. Unfortunately all 3 have been plagued with injuries since being drafted. McDougle is another one. Bohanon has also been useless since arriving but then again he's a former 7th rounder so expectations have never been high. Last but not least I don't think anyone would lose sleep if Kellen Davis were to be released tomorrow.
Yes I don't like negativity but since you are asking I don't like Revis and never did Dude better earn his 39 mill and get us to a SB Plus Geno just being Geno,,,maybe he can be traded if trends a little more upwrd
Brian Winters Brian Winters Brian Winters How this man is still on an NFL roster is a mystery, TB is not only bad with clock management, but I fear he is too loyal to veterans. That's it for me, I'll wait for week one to let out any additional negativity. I'm too happy about jets football starting.
I forgot about McDougle. I still remember several posters on here making the case that he would be a steal. He was a walking injury and a joke of a pick that high. I would say Top 3 are: -Geno (gets a bit of a raw deal IMO) -Milliner -Winters honorable mention -D Smith -Amaro (this is his make or break year, better show something)
Where's this from? I'm like 99% sure this is a picture I took and posted on Twitter last year. Weird...
Interestingly, Bowles mentioned Winters as one of the guys he saw as most improved when asked in his press conference the other day. Skrine was the other one.
Well, everything is relative I guess. Neither Winters or Skrine makes me sing hosannas but I'm not a professional NFL talent evaluator either.
Brian Winters is a young guy who may actually be a decent starter this year. 1. Geno 2. Breno 3. Tie Dee Millner, Dexter McDougle, Devin Smith
As bad as he is, he really is the second best G on the team. The opportunity to upgrade his spot didn't really present itself during the off season. They looked at Kelechi Osemele but the asking price was too high. OL will have to be a huge priority next offseason with Mangold getting older and the general mediocrity along the right side.
I think we had plenty of opportunities to upgrade the position in the offseason. With that being said there is no guard controversy as no one else on the roster has half of the talent needed to challenge Winters for the starting job.
That's a pretty sad situation when BW can't be challenged for the starting guard spot. I'm worried about that right side with the opponents the jets have to face in the first couple of weeks of the season.
