I do trust Macc but like I said nobody gets it right all the time. GM's fall in love with prospects all the time and that is what happened. If you wanted a QB you should have got one with less to work with. Remember the year all the Jets QB's went down to injuries? Well, the Jets have to have all their guys ready to play Day ONE because you never know. I watched Petty play alot when he was at Baylor and I thought he would be a good pick for the Jets and I was glad they did take him. He won alot of games and threw alot of touchdown. Sorry but you can't say that about Hackenberg.

I don't know if Hackenberg is the one. He's definitely not the one for this year but that's not why he was hired. The coaches haven't said anything because they are experienced and intelligent enough to know it's too soon to judge. Why is that so hard to understand? Perhaps you need to go back to Pop Warner and find a plug-and-play guy; they don't exist in the NFL, especially at quarterback.
