People worry that the thread they started won't get enough exposure in the NFL forum so they put it in the NY Jets forum and then find out that either A: The same thread was already started in the correct forum before they even started their thread or B: It was not that big a deal and was not worthy of it's own thread so at least half of the posts will be questioning why the thread is in the Jets forum.

Oh, they will also come up with a reason why in their mind the person will always be Jets news.

The Buffalo Bills have just waived IK Enemkpali.

After losing IK Enemkpali for the season (their #1 backup OLB) they're now completely depleted at LB with Reggie Ragland out with an ACL tear (2nd round pick), Shaq Lawson undergoing offseason shoulder surgery (1st round pick) and Manny Lawson (partially torn Pectoral muscle).

Out of desperation they're now looking at washed up LB's such as Calvin Pace and just singed 30 year old Kroy Biermann.

They'll be fielding a makeshift/below mediocre linebacking core here in 2016. Could end up ending their season before it even started.

    Speaking of clueless and misinformed....

CBS, NFL, FOX all called it a sucker punch. A simple Google search would have told you that.

    It was a sucker punch.

And please stop with your forum lies ala "Geno wasn't prepared vs. Oakland".

    You're lying.

Geno played a very good game (on the road in Oakland) while coming off the bench without a preseason.

Geno Smith: Went 27/42 (completion percentage of 64.3%), 265 passing yards, 2 TD's/1 INT along with a QB Rating of 87.9. Also put up 34 yards off of two rushes (average of 17 yards per carry).

So please. Stop lying with the whole "Geno wasn't prepared" nonsense.

If you watched the game (sounds like you didn't) you'd not only know but also understand it was the Jets defense as the one's who were "unprepared".

Derek Carr absolutely embarrassed and destroyed our defense while throwing for 333 yards with 4 TD's/0 INT's. To make it worse, Latavius Murray made our run defense look atrocious while slashing us for 113 rushing yards off of 20 rushing attempts (a whopping 5.7 yards per carry). To make it even more painful regarding our defense we recorded exactly 0 INT's & 0 sacks.

How dare you make up your own lies of Geno "not being prepared".

You must've had a Roger Clemens moment and "misremembered" because Geno was prepared along with a solid outing while the Jets defense lost the game with an atrocious showing.

Geno critics will make up lies to prove an agenda. It's mind boggling.

But yea, Karma's a bitch and now IK's not only out for the entire season with a torn ACL but he's also been released from Buffalo. Sweet Karma within the form of poetic justice.

Geno wasn't horrible during the Raiders game, but he wasn't as good as the passer rating would indicate. He put up most of his good passing numbers after the Jets were out of the game, i.e. playing against a prevent defense. He also got sacked three times and his ANY/A, which is a much better stat than passer rating because it factors in sacks, was 4.63, which is well below average.

it is a two way street. Geno should not have run his mouth to a 250 lb maniac and antagonize him. I don't condone IK's actions but geno is far from innocent in this

And it was not a sucker punch a sucker punch would be minding my own business and guy walks up and punches me. Geno and IK were running their mouths and Geno said something a supposed team leader shouldn't have said to incite a 250lb maniac. A team leader and prepared player like you say he is should not have allowed himself to even be in that situation.
Geno let his mouth write a check he was not prepared to cover and he paid his price and more then liekly lost his true shot at being a starting qb in the nfl

Geno also forgot down and distance made poor reads and bad throws in that game. Took a sack when he shouldn't have, did not run out of bounds when he should have with the clock running out. I could live with a bad outing from a back up but he forgot down and distance and game situations that is unforgivable for a qb even the back up.
To recap Geno was not as prepared as you say the below title says it all. He was not all to blame but he was far from solid as well

Why are we even dredging up this issue again. Everybody knows coming off the bench cold after missing almost all of training camp and getting second team reps eventually in practice did not put Geno in the best position to enter the oakland game and yet, he performed better than expected while the defense took the afternoon off. Geno did not loose that game.

Enough with the Geno hating! Fitz is not the answer and in a competition with Geno he would loose. We are in for another let down this season with Fitz as the starter. I don't know how any of you can assume that after Fitz has his best season as a pro at his age, he is now some kind of saviour because he went to an Ivy league school.

Marshall and Decker can only bail him out so many times.

Rex has a built-in excuse when Bills don't make PO again.

dude this is not Geno hate but geno facts and the truth. Geno is a back up at best the best you can say about the raider game was he ws not the only reason we lost.... He was cold blah blah blah being cold means bad throws not forgetting down and distance or game situations for a game and a psoition you have played for 10 yrs since high school. Those are mental errors and missing reps does not equate to that because you should be studing game films and situations.
In a game an position where smarts often outweighs talent Geno is mental midget. I am so glad that the Staff does not think like you, and think like most fans that Geno is not the qb solution and view Fitz as a bridge QB at best. Geno was the starter and was beat out for his job. The best player at the position won a job and hs not looked back.

If geno was so good and fitz was so bad as you say why ws the rest of the team screaming like school girls when he showed up before camp? I can tell you but you won't listen, it's because he gives the team the best chance to win until they find a great qb.

Stick your head in sand and don't believe what your eyes and the team are telling you. fine but don't dare to say in qb competition fitszwould lose because it was pretty freaking obvious in that competition and in games he won where has geno has barely survived.
edit I need to add posts like I quoted are esp bad because people are ignoring the facts as they are presented by the team. I was told earlier in another thread that Geno wuold be the starter and I did not know what I was talking about. So of course I gloated. I understand people have likes and dislikes but you can't argue facts and the facts are this team is basically done with Geno and his best chance at starting in the nfl are basically done. Sure a team will sign him next yr and he will say he was never given a chance in NYC of course ignoring the first 2 yrs of his career, and when he did play the poor on the field choices he made.
That is why I like what this staff is doing with the young qbs rather then throwing them into the firre

And things continue to get worse for Buffalo.

Marcell Dareus, starting DT; suspended for 1st 4 games due a missed drug test.

This is excellent news for our Jets considering that we'll play on the road @ Buffalo come week 2.

They'll be without IK (released), Ragland (ACL tear), Shaq Lawson (shoulder surgery), Dareus (suspended) & could also be without Manny Lawson.

I don't think we will. If anything Buffalo better hope the Jets don't come out fired up with last season's revenge on our heart.

One thing is for certain, this Bills defense is completely depleted heading into 2016.
