1 meter of rain? isn't that like three and a half feet of water I believe last time a super T hit Taiwan the world ran out of hard drives for like a year
Currently a balmy, rainy 59F degrees lakeside in southwest NH. Fun in that this is a rock and roll reunion of sorts jamming with childhood friends and kicking up the ear-ringing tinnitus but still, 59F on July 9th? Supposed to break by Monday.

It's been pretty hot here in coastal sc. We get loads of thunderstorms here every summer but yesterday was one of the most fierce I've ever seen. Lightning was insane... 2 house fires from it in my town
You were right - came Monday and things up here improved for the better. Today's warm and sunny with lake (and rope swing) swimming/water skiing written all over it..

ugh, this weather sucks. tomorrow will be the worst than we start trending back towards normal. but tomorrow is going to be brutal. hydrate, check on elderly and pets and hydrate some more. come on winter
We'll see where it is Monday. If it takes the southern line in the cone it will definitely be worth watching. If wobbles farther north i think it stays out to sea. They almost always take a hard right turn somewhere before hitting land.
