it amazes me how much I dislike when this guy speaks,,,,,loved him as a player but hate his commentary,,,,more like despise it ! I disagree with most of what he says . When he says anything non objective to collect his paycheck is bad enough but listening tonight was beyond painful .

Petty thru a pass on the run last nite that got broken up in the end zone ,,,Buttle,,,I'm paraphrasing called it a wobbly pass,,,which I thought it wasn't ,,and he added that had it not been wobbly it would have been intercepted,,,,huh ?
Buttle is a dolt, but he's our dolt, so i like him. Seeing him and Eagle botch preseason games lets me know Jets football is back! it's become tradition.
Yeah, he's brutal, but he doesn't bother me. I think I laughed once at his stuff. That MaC/Mc stuff was from hunger tho. If not for Eagle it would prolly suck for me too. He gets a pass from me because of the era he played in...maybe my favorite Jets team Westoff and Cascadden or Colon would be a more interesting listen. The last two Jets Nations with those three have been pretty good, for a change
Even the announcers keep it vanilla in pre season. Some of the commentary made me go, "Huwah?" Hopefully we won't have to deal with this putz in the real season.
Ian Eagle is horrible - at least Buttle ads some spice to the mix. Really miss Spencer Ross and Sam Deluca duo - they were one of the best.
Are you implying Wischusen sucks? I wouldn't pick anyone else to call a Jets game. He goes from 0-60 in a split second. Plus the "CAUGHT!" before every TD is a thing of beauty. If you can't get jacked up listening to him call a highlight, you should give up watching sports.
Go listen to a tape of Merle Harmon/ Sam Deluca, Marty Glickman/Randy Rasmussen, Spencer Ross/Sam Deluca, Charlie Steiner/Sam Deluca and Howard David/Dave Jennings and then tell me how good Weasle-schusen is....poor Marty Lyons!
