The USA Womens Rugby Sevens played Australia two days ago. The score was tied 12 - 12 at Halftime. I missed the second half. I didn't know that women played Rugby, but they were good. They were muscular and strong and fast. I'd like too see one of those creeps who grab women joggers, grab hold to one of those Rugby gals. By the time she got through with him, he would think that he'd been eat by a Grizzly Bear and shit over a cliff.
Regarding your first paragraph, I totally disagree with the hero worship and idolatry that is so big here. She deserves respect within her sport but needs to be treated like everyone else in the rest of her life. Your second paragraph indicates you're big on leaping to conclusions not mentioned.
It was awesome match. USA blew it at the last second. We should have won. USA ladies played New Zealand later that evening and lost 5-0. Australia won the gold, New Zealand took silver.
