Fixed. If I had to give it a grade like you did, I guess it would be a 3/10. The 3 going to The Joker, Batman, and Harley being in the film at all. As a comic fan, I will say this: "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility." And that is why the film is a complete mess and failure. You can't have these iconic characters wasted like this. Have to be held to a higher standard.
Finally saw it. Nothing more than a quality action flick in all honesty. Could've been so much better. The whole film struggled with whether it wanted to be corny funny and dark and mysterious. It's so obvious when they went back and edited scenes to try to make them more friendly and goofy. The Harly Quinn elevator scene stuck out to me like a sore thumb, and the soundtrack was an absolutely horrible blend of upbeat and dark and angry. They overthought themselves badly with this one. They have a couple more shots at this before they might as well sell the scripts to Marvel (while I know this will never happen). It's a shame too because while I'm not a huge comic book fan, I love the movies and the bad guys in the D.C. Universe are so much cooler. Still worth a watch though. I was entertained. I feel bad for the purist fans of the DC universe though (i.e. The Dark Knight, sorry man). They must've been terribly disappointed.
It was nice. But it didn't get enough air time. Brings down the movies overall rating in my book. They didn't explain enough throughout the movie either. They should've dialed back the amount of characters/villains and focused more on the one's they had in the film. As I said though I still found it entertaining and worth a watch.
If they do get around to a SS II, I'll wait on the download unless I hear rave reviews...Speaking of reviews, why the silence on "Dr. Strange" ? Did Marvel finally lay an egg this time?
