Medical issue holding up Bruce trade.

Didn't we try Wheeler for Bruce last year and the same medical thing happened?

Supposedly the hold up is with one of the mets prospects.

 

Ah yes, but I do recall us being in on Bruce or Frazier and then we went and got Cespedes.

 

I feel like we have been in Bruce rumors for years. Maybe it was just not supposed to be.

 

I wonder which prospect they are talking about? The deal could be a big as the Cespedez deal last year, even if this guy does literally nothing in the field, he gives the Mets much needed RBI power. The deadline today is 4:00 pm right?

Bruce is like top 5 in HRs and RBIS on a shitty team. He's also batting 360 with RISP

 

Dilson Herrera instead of Nimmo

 

Nimmo, Dilson Herrera, and another prospect to the Reds.

Thats a big price, gotta hope Bruce changes things around

Damn, I was hoping we wouldn't lose Herrera, but this should put the Mets back in the race.

Now when the heck is Wheeler coming back? We need him badly. I don't want to see anymore Bart on 3 days rest.

So we didn't resign Murphy because Herrera was the future at 2B. Now you trade him and didn't resign Murph..?
