The schedule was set a year ago by the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is composed of both Republicans and Democrats. I doubt that the Republican members of the Commission would have been interested in protecting Hillary from public scrutiny.

I think you're giving him too much credit. His grasp of reality is so thin, and his opinion of himself so bloated, that as he's speaking, his perception of history actually changes. In other words, when he opens his mouth, he vaguely understands that he's twisting the truth for his own benefit. But once he's spoken, his reality changes. What he said becomes more "true" precisely because he's heard himself say it. (Everyone should read that linked New Yorker article in the OP.)
Hillary knows what's true and what isn't. When you and I lie, and when Hillary lies, we know we're lying. That's where Trump is different. He sort of knows what's true, but then when he speaks, it infects his perspective. Which helps to explain why he's so utterly shameless. Because he isn't really aware that he's doing it.
If your vision of trumps truth concerns you more than Hillarys , then I really don't know what to tell you. It seems Hillary supporters like to go out of their way to delude themselves.

You realize that the author of the book has already had to make 7 or more corrections after publishing, and has also been proven wrong on a few topics by fact checking websites. So while there might be some truth in there, its also a bit biased.
It was the first book to ever have corrections made too. Everyone is biased but making corrections isn't an indication of bias. It's called being responsible. Those corrections were made long before the film was made.
