I do agree that he might not realize how his comments are being heard, and he might not be completely racist, but he is definitely ignorant. Especially towards hispanics.
I never said any general statement that someone makes is justified to be labled as racist if someone takes offense to it. But if you specifically bring up a race in said statement, and someone of that race deems it as a racist comment, then who are you to say its not?
I don't like Trump. I think he's an asshole and I rooted against him the entire primary season. If Gary Johnson can't make the debate stage I will vote for him (trump) though. That's because of what I think about Hillary and the balance of supreme court being on the line.
Theres that grey area again. I personally feel like that was an offensive and ignorant comment, but Hispanics feel its racist because it belittles them as a race.
I had forgotten about the Obama thing, but it shows racist tendencies. Wanting to ban all Muslims from entering the country is racist as well imo.
Ok now you're just trolling. Her political background is allowing a cheater to walk free (great feminist right there) and finding the only state in the union liberal enough to get her into politics.
Hey Just realized this is second election having to do with a Wall: Trump "put up that Wall against the illegals!" Reagan "Mr Gorbachev.....take down that Wall!"
Today while driving, I saw a car with what appeared to be two 8.5 x 11 printed pages taped to the back bumper with big letters. I wanted to snap a picture but didn't get the opportunity. The first one said, "Trump is going to kick Hillary's rump and be the white house ump". The second one said, "Donald Trump is going to land his house on the wicked witch of the west". I couldn't figure out if it was satire making fun of him, or a legitimate supporter. It's funny how you can't tell the difference these days. Funny how they made their own bumper stickers out of regular paper and scotch tape. I vote no confidence this election. Becoming the president shouldn't be about charisma and giving likable speeches or being a celebrity. It should be about intelligence and knowledge of economics as well as history, science and other important things. The presidential debate this year is going to be LOLworthy. I might even watch it just for the laughs just watch them both dodge every tough question that comes their way.
I agree about no confidence. And I'd care a lot more if I didn't believe the job was a powerless figurehead position designed to create focal government attention to one person holding a temporary position instead of the voting public actually coming to terms with the fact the the real decision makers have lifetime positions and don't care a whit about the voting public aside from their being pacified by the most public dog and pony show in the world. It's basically a race between a couple of con men who want to exploit their perceived position for an Olympic sized pool full of happybucks.
I'm with the "no confidence" crowd. I'm leaning toward voting for Hillary, simply because I think the House and Senate will stay Red. If I see strong evidence Congress will turn Blue (highly doubt it), then I'll vote the other way. The choice is between Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich-- I won't be happy with either, but I certainly want whichever one wins to have a hard time getting anything done. Maybe in 4 or 8 years we'll get some real candidates. If we're lucky, maybe even adults.
It doesn't really matter. Hillary was ordained the next president years ago, and it doesn't really matter where your vote goes at this point. I said it about a year ago and it's no less true. The only reason Trump is still breathing is to make it believable that Hillary could beat someone for the office. Hell, all she had to do was beat a grass roots Jewish socialist (and a bunch of even less believable candidates) to get the Dem ticket. There's a reason this entire election year has been full of the worst possible prospects. To make Hillary look like the best.
I'm not voting for Trump, but I would like specific examples of where Trump said that Mexicans immigrants are here to rape our daughters and commit crimes. And no, I am not scouring the article looking for it. You post them for me, since you made the claim.
Stop making me defend a candidate that I do not like. He didn't say Mexicans were rapists. He said that of the people from Mexico who are coming here illegally, we are getting the drug dealers, rapists and criminals. He also said that some of the illegals are good people. That is very different than saying Mexicans are rapists.
