ESPN is so unwatchable nowadays. These guys are like leaf blowers in expensive suits. They even have former decent writers converted to the "hot take" format. I was watching Bob Ryan talk about something to day and he sounded like he was having a nervous breakdown. So glad I don't subscribe any more.
sports tv is entertainment tv. if you are waiting for a show with a coach messing with a marker on a white board for half an hour, its never happening
If that's entertainment I'll just dump TV all together..... or better yet, read some of Mehta's Twitter posts! That's always entertaining!
The one guy is right on one point. If brady has a serious injury it could spell the end of his career due to his age and the extended amount of time to heal. The chances of that happening are extremely low since he usually finds a way to avoid the big hits. Other than that if he does not sustain a serious injury I can see him being just as good as he is now for another 5 years with the type of offense NE runs, time will tell though.
Kellerman has been right about the others in his analysis I agree with him......but he'll be wrong about Brady being GOAT when that debate balloon moves down the road a little.
I suspect if things keep going the way they are Rodgers will have a pretty legit claim to the GOAT title. I also think once it's said and done more people will side with Peyton over Brady.
Kellerman is right Mo Wilk LWilliams S Richardson C Pryor Plus the rest of the League licking their chops for a shot at that cheater and deflated balls wont help him
I agree. Sports journalism as a whole has taken a shit since the twitter/social media era began. It's all about crazy controversial viewpoints to get people's emotions riled up. ESPN is all gossip and drama now. I don't usually watch them on TV, but I hear the radio shows while driving. They are downright absurd with the level of Jets hate. It wasn't that long ago they were positive that the Jets were not going to get a deal done with Wilkerson or Fitzpatrick. Last year it was all about how the Jets will win 4-6 games. Now all they can talk about is the "crazy" schedule. Anita Marks, who I can't stand, said today that the Jets will be lucky to start the year 1-5 and be completely blessed to be 2-4. So according to her the Jets should start 0-6. Meanwhile, the Giants are expected to compete for the division, when their first 6 games are @Dallas, vs NO, vs Washington, @Vikings, @GreenBay, vs Ravens. I don't even hear them discussing this. Will the Giants be blessed to go 2-4 during that stretch? They also face the Steelers and Bengals later in the season, 2 of the teams expected to beat the Jets.
