that Twitch couple i posted 2 weeks ago apparently got a deal with Travelocity. Travelocity is going to fly them around the world so that they can catch all the available pokemon.
My cousins had Colecovision. We were playing the baseball game and I actually made the catcher jump forward and catch the ball for an out as it was coming off the bat - and not as a foul tip.
He'd have to move about 150 mph to grab the ball. In other words, the ColecoVision game was so realistic it even took steroids into account.
Went on a 5 hour Poke hunting adventure with my 17 year old daughter today. First we went to a lake around a 30 minute drive away known to be a Magmar hotspot. We caught about 7 each - I caught 2 real nice ones a 985 cp, 958 cp. Also landed a 1016 Goldduck, a Tentacruel, an 859 cp Taurus and a slew of Magicarp (about half way now toward a Gyrados. Next we went to a park downtown that is know for spawing Jynx. We eat caught about 6 of them my highest was a 728 cp, also caught a bunch of Slowpokes including a 538. Also landed today my first Rhyhorn, Geodude, Growlithe and Tangela.
I remember the Intellivision you could turn a base hit down the 3rd base line into a home run but a hit between 1st and 2nd the right fielder could throw the runner out at 1st.

Niantic update to the game removed the footsteps tracking! Doesn't look like they want to fix it. All those poke tracking sites no longer work too.

Most people think the footstep thing was never broken, but it put too much strain on the servers and was causing all the crashes, so they just disabled it and now got rid of it. The original beta of the app had even more exact tracking. Kind of sucks they went after Pokevision threatening legal action. If they do not want to fix the tracking at least give the players an idea of how to find them. What are we supposed to do walk around in circles and hope to find one. They also changed up all the spawning areas, the day after I went with my daughter - the Magmar spot turned into a Electabuzz, the Jynx spot turned into a Scyther nest. My neighborhood which barely saw anything but birds and rats is now getting a bunch of Psyducks and Eevees
I agree 100%. All of reddit is up in arms over the tracking thing. I used Pokevision, but I also am not opposed to it being shut down and going away. This may be because I have caught almost everything I wanted with Raichu and Alakazam being my main target guys next. However, this game deserves some form of tracking. At least have a compass type tracker on the app that at least points you in the right direction. Footsteps thing was stupid because 1 step still was like 2 blocks from where you were in each direction. Now everyone is giving the app a 1 star and demanding refunds (these are the hardcore gamers), the casual folk probably love the improvements. I liked the new update, but they have to provide some form of tracking, Now everyone is using twitter for updates on where Pokemon are in your city. P.S. Good thing I farmed by Charmanders in time before that nest died out...Everytime I drop a Charizard in gyms in busy place, I love hearing people talk about it Tired of seeing Snorlax, Dragonite, Gyrados everywhere...I drop all kinds of unique guys. Golem, Wigglytuff, etc. Thats cool to me.
