Obama is a middle of the road guy who doesn't want to ruffle any feathers. I think he's been uninspiring in his 8 years and by that measure a massive disappointment. I think he doesn't have much standing right now to sway voters to or from anyone. I think Tim Kaine had a much bigger impact in his ridiculing of Trump, but even then everybody already knows Trump is a blowhard and don't really care
People love him. He's been an upstanding guy from a personal standpoint. He's funny, cool, etc. If he ran again he would win in a landslide. The reason he can't sway voters is because Hillary is so awful He hasn't been middle of the road as far as politics which is why people think the country is going in the wrong direction
People who voted for him mostly will vote for Hillary, but he's not convincing anybody who didn't vote for him and those who didn't vote at all
