I find it rather humorous that Bloomberg got a prime-time slot, while the current Mayor of New York was relegated to soap-opera hours.

One would think that if Trump gets elected, that's exactly what would happen. He'd surround himself with the brightest and most experienced, and run the country like a CEO runs a company: Set the vision, establish a culture, be the face of the country, and let the people who know what they're doing handle things.

I realize what his point was but that statement is still ridiculous. He might as well said, she won't do what she says and you won't agree with her policies but she's not Trump.

Question remains who are those people. And what is his vision this entire Election season is missing subsistence of actual issues

I think Trump has been very clear about what the major issues he's running on are.

    Illegal Immigration/Wall
    Jobs/Trade Deals
    ISIS/National Security

The problem is has he done that? Lewandowski one of those guys? Manafort? What about Cruz kicking his ass on the technical parts of the campaign?

I'm not confident in his ability to select the best and brightest

His broad explanations of things don't make me feel as if he has a plan. Does he have ideas yes. A plan to execute would say so.
Like ISIS I would love to hear his idea on how he can combat a enemy with no nation an enemy who hides behind citizens plus their goal is to have us in a ground war they believe they are the harbingers of the apocolypse ...
It's more complicated then telling the masses where you stand. Show us your plan outline it highlight it release it. I'm not sold

When it comes to Isis he can't specifically outline a plan, if he even has one. Other than bombing the shit out of them

I don't think most voters give a shit about the details. Hell, Congress doesn't even bother to read the bills they pass.

If they really cared about the details neither of the two candidates would be the nominee.

Can it be any worse than the approach of this administration?

Jesus fuck, they won't even mention the word Islam. It's like "ISIS" and "ISIL" we're acronyms invented solely to avoid saying the word Islam.

It's easy to make a blanket statement like that but as far as I know only Islam is big on "infidels" and what you should do to them

I'm kidding. Obviously a religion based on an ass magnet warlord is going to breed more fanatics than a religion based on a virgin who preached peace until justice after death

Russia to U.S., Trump: Sort out your own hacking scandal.

MOSCOW, July 28 (Reuters) - Russia told the United States on Thursday to get to the bottom of a hacking scandal involving Democratic Party emails itself and rejected what Donald Trump said was a sarcastic suggestion that Moscow should dig up Hillary Clinton's "missing" emails.

Trump says he would like to 'hit' DNC speakers who disparaged him

Donald Trump, after hearing speeches at the Democratic convention this week, said Thursday he wanted to "hit a number of those speakers so hard, their heads would spin." "They'd never recover," he said.
The Republican nominee zoomed in on one speaker especially, though he didn't mention his name.
"I was going to hit one guy in particular, a very little guy," Trump said to laughs at a campaign rally in Davenport, Iowa. "I was going to hit this guy so hard his head would spin, he wouldn't know what the hell happened."

Trump said this individual "came out of nowhere" and had done work with Trump in the past. "He made deals with me. 'Will you help me with this? Would you make this deal and solve the problem?' I solved the problem," Trump said.
