The money part doesn't bother me personally as much as the fact that I'm just not a believer in Fitz to go on a playoff run I wasn't a believer in Geno or anyone else out there either....But starting Geno we would have: 1. Saved 12 million for the future 2. Got to see if Geno was good enough in a much better situation as a 4th year player...who knows maybe he could have been decent enough 3. Got a better draft pick if Geno completely shit the bed or got hurt I'm now just expecting a 8-8, 9-7 which gets us nowhere....again But it is what it is and I hope Fitz can prove me wrong I'm just giving you my take on it......It's cool that the team seems happy so hope they go out and win the division now

Fitz is now the 22nd quarterback in the league based on average salary/year after Foles was released. He is also the 3rd lowest paid starting quarterback (ahead of RGIII & Tyrod Taylor) that's not on his rookie deal.

quickly i just want to state that $12 million for the future is a weird thing to be bothered about because it's just not on the books for next year. idk what we would have used that $12 million on this offseason for. also getting a better draft pick is such a fucking soft reason to not play a season. our best player on our team was drafted 30th overall and one of our highest draft picks of all time (gholston) was fucking ass
No, we look at Fitz as the competent alternative to Geno Smith, who was statistically the worst or near worst QB when he took the field for us. If you're fine with having the worst QB in the league and finishing in last place, Geno is your guy!
