Tick ... Tock ... Tick ... Tock. When is that alarm gonna go off on Fitz? Here's my prediction - Fitz will agree to a three year, front-loaded deal in a couple of weeks. He will be our starting QB until he gets hurt - I'm guessing week 3 in KC (shoulder). Geno will come in and hold his own for three tough weeks (Sea, @Pitt, @Cards) where we go 1-2. His decent play will keep this stupid Fitz v. Geno dialogue going. Fitz will come back and play well against inferior competition, but we will see more of Geno before season's end. At season's end, we will finish middle of the pack and narrowly miss the playoffs. The FO will then have to decide whether to keep Fitz (cap hit) or sign Geno to a new deal. Geno will want starter money that we don't have, and we will continue to argue about who should be the guy, or whether we should just roll with Petty/Hack. Rinse/Repeat.

I just heard a great stat on 98.7 (ESPN NY). 2015 - 600+ passing attempts, 22 sacks allowed. 2014 - 400+ passing attempts, 47 sacks allowed. There is a really big difference between Fitz and Geno. Fitz can actually read a defense to not only move the ball, but also to eliminate the drive killing sacks. This contract needs to be signed now. I can't take this anymore.
